That's an excellent question.....how was it done???????????????

wow - so it's done and romo is our next heir apparant?

sorry - jury still out despite a premature call for victory ended with one of the most overused phrases of the season already.

You have to love the crowd that whined til the cows came home that insisted you'd learn a world of information had Parcell's played Romo in that one meaningless game 16 last year, then turn around and find that not a whole lot was gained from this one meaningless game in preseason.

I'm still in the camp, regardless of the words the BP haters like to put in my mouth, that neither meaningless game would gauge either way, good OR bad.

All that info is on the field for those that matter to see, and evaluate.

If Romo has another nice outing, I should expect those same whiners to please explain to me how in the world he did it without being under their watchful eye, and explain how, after 3 years of crying no QB was being developed, how he could do so well if he hadn't been being groomed.

The silence will be deafening.

ok jack - then answer me this...if you can't tell something from one meaningless game, how can you call him "developed" after watching him in his 1st "meaningless" game?

and I'M the hypocrite.

Yes, here we go. So much for the ignore button.

But alas, screwing the words around to fit your agenda....again. (yawn, things just never change)

You say I'm calling him 'developed', I check my own words, and they're still there BTW, and it clearly says 'being developed.' Note also it doesn't say he is groomed, but, being groomed.

Does it not? Understand the difference? Nowhere do I say it's a done deal, in fact, (again clearly stated)

Those being developed and being groomed are the things you say have not been happening. Still deny they have been happening?

Carry on.

PS- I do recall the 'hypocrit' being mentioned in 'private'. Again not understanding what the P in PM means?

if using a word in "private" means i can never use the word again is your *beef* with me, then i'm done worrying about it. i've made quite a few attempts to figure out just what your problem was with me now i just don't give a damn. i'm pretty sure you use a lot of words i sent you in a PM yet you don't pummell yourself with yourself, you seem to save it for me. any excuse you can pull out of your flea collar makes you a happy dog.

you're still making assumptions off ONE GAME jr. the same game you said you could tell NOTHING from was the exact starting point of your "HA HA LOOK AT ME I'M RIGHT AGAIN!" dance you're now doing.

romo played 1 game, of which you said nothing could be told, but you tout his progress. i never said you "finished it" i said you're making judgements and statements over ONE FREAKING GAME - the same ONE GAME you said would be meaningless.

so after 1 game, you're here to go HA HA, based off one game.

not my fault you don't see the irony.

Excellent revisionism.

That, or comprehension is not your strong suit.

But I think I'm finally getting your style. Take what a person actually writes, and argue that they say the opposite.

Sean Hanity would be so proud.

Romo has moxie and The Answer likes the cut of his jib....but this kid is nowhere close to being ready to start for this team, or in the NFL in general.

The Answer is certain that his development has been accelerated watching Bledsoe do his thing last year and so far this year in camp...but still on a little nervous if we had to depend on this kid for any extended period of time if disaster should strike and Bledsoe goes down.

The rest of the preseason is crucial for Romo....he needs to continue his above average play..Parcells won't be fooled easily.

romo looks like he'll be a very capable backup for now. kinda reminds me of buerlein but with a bent to step "up" in the pocket rather than move laterally... i think his release is quite a bit quicker than steve's, too.

tony impressed me saturday nite... but if you think dallas is better of with him under center instead of bledsoe - ya need to get a grip.

Hmmmm...drama queen.....makes me think of a time...a time not long ago......

well, truth be told jack, i'm about to ignore you also just cause i'm tired of the attacks you love to do now.

i'm sorry we don't agree politically - but i'm tired of the fighting and "stabbing" that's gone on even after i thought we worked it out. i've let the other mods know you're on ignore for me simply because i just don't want to fight with you. this isn't why people come here and i just need to remind myself of that and get back to talking football, agreeing or disagreeing - no sense in trying to make someone feel bad about their views.

not to me

Ohhh Rhett, I dooooooo declare...how will we ever save Tara?!?

CUT! That's a wrap!

Good stuff jerry...gold I tell ya...gold!

What's wrong Jerra? An absolute perfect example of your 'drama queen' abilities as you call the kettle black? LOL. Ohhh, but you edited it to fit your agenda, what a surprise! (at least you didn't change the words this time)

Typical icey hypocrisy.

Now, back to your regularly scheduled iceberg/jerry jones tips on grooming a QB.
