I think people just normally fear the great passers, and all of them are in the AFC. I don't know about Watson and Wilson anymore, but it does take a team. That said, the NFC only has to beat one of them to win a SB.

We're also seeing teams near to, or with elite QBs, or QBs on rookie contracts making it to the SB.
I get what you’re saying and it make sense. I think people are crowning some of these guys…especially Watson. He’s done nothing. A lot of those guys just have a great reputation.

Lol...more covering up the real truth to prop yer boi.
You just spout off this nonsense and expect people to buy it. Ridiculous.
“Romo didn't have the it factor to make people around him better. I think when I was there he thought he was bigger than the team. It was like Romo and then the team. Like nobody in the locker room is really going to respect you like that. Hatcher told 105.3's Ben and Skin. "He was a great player and got all the numbers and stuff but I'll take Dak over Romo any day because Dak has the ability to make people around him better. You'll run through a wall for Dak but Romo, hell no."

And you defend the hell out of Romo who was a perennial loser. Call to what it is. Pot meet kettle.

Here’s your evidence…..

How likely do you believe it is that Dak wins a Super Bowl in his career (as stated in a percentage)

Based on Dak’s rookie year, I would have guessed 60/40 in favor of Dak winning a SB.

Currently, I would put Dak’s odds at winning a SB at about 8 percent. In order for that to happen the team has to carry Dak and his heavy contract to a SB win, or Dak has to catch lightning in a bottle for 4 games (like Eli Manning).

Speak your mind, but let’s keep it civil and courteous. Thanks in advance.
Imo,Unless we have a defense on par with our 70s defense or the 85 bears..I give dak 0% going by his recent history of choking against the 9ers.

Odds of Dak winning a Super Bowl...?

1% or less.

I haven't seen anything in the last couple seasons that suggests Dak has the mettle to lead this team to glory. I think Dak is good, not great. He does pretty good against decent competition. Not so much against great, or even really good opponents.

I believe a NFC Championship game appearance is as far as he can take us. That's his pinnacle in my view, & certainly no guarantee he can even get there. We shall see.

They're definitely over hyped to some extent. Most QBs, and I don't care how good they are, aren't making up the difference of a better roster. All things being equal, they might be the difference maker. Still, it's not easy putting the better roster on the field.

The thing that I think we have to consider is what the two QB's did to put themselves in contention. And how the defense effected the game.

I think there's more to it than just the name on the back of the jersey ....for BOTH of them.

On the surface...the bottom line is neither, right? Does anyone care that Romo scrambled around for 30 yards on a botch snap and throw the TD pass? Or miraculously escaped the clutches of defense? "In it" BECAUSE of him...not losing because.

Check this out.....do you see Dak doing these? I don't.

I know....you probably aren't interested in a Romo highlight reel. I thought I'd give a try anyway.

Ive seen them and romo has highlight reels as does dak every QB does but heres some perspective as well in this posted link. ironically about 2013 is when my view on TR started shifting in a more positive light. You are a rags to riches story fan and i respect that.I just am not that guy. Perhaps that he played at Eastern illinois and regulalry beat my then ISU redbirds tail. perhaps because he was a brett favre wanna be perhaps because he was at the helm for alot of opportunites and failed. Im not a prescott guy necessarily i just like him much more than tony. More than anything else I didnt despise Tony as much as i did his over the top fans.

I guess we all have our favorites.

If you would take some care in reading what I wrote...you;d see a couple examples. Let me refresh you. You totally lost track of it in your emotional rants:
Okay so show me your "facts" then. Surely you have PLENTY of documentation. I mean...maybe more than ONE...but a couple sources to set me straight.

"facts"...lets have them.

Romo "lost the team".

Does this include when the team gave up on him when he came back in a drove them right down the field for a surgical TD?
See that? "maybe more than just one". Maybe a COUPLE? I mean since it is so OBVIOUSLY...surely two or three would be easy to find.

But never mind. You can have your victory!

It's all good. You have ALWAYS been clear it's your opinion and feelings. I never seen that you had to lie about anything to suit your..."agenda" (for lack of better word). Righteous.

The old adage "you can find anything on the internet" seems to be applying in several regards with this thread, huh? :)

Thank you. Victory is sweet at times. I wish it would’ve not come at Romos expense but aye what can I do.

Let's be clear here. I asked for more than one. But if one is ALL you have, it will have to do, eh?
I mean to be honest it was my opinion that he lost the team. I’ve heard stories post career that there were times where Romo and Witten would get invited to stuff by Jerry or Garrett. To me that builds division amongst a locker room. Players held grudges about that. I’ve seen Dez make similar comments without putting names on it. The Hatcher comments just solidified what I already suspected.

Fair enough. I can respect that. Not everything we think or feel revolves around provable stats.

The locker room can be complicated atmosphere. It seems there is some kind of code MOST players assume, to one extent or another. Like military brotherhood. Some loose canons do speak out . I don;t hold too much weight to it.

It's my opinion that most players respected Romo's grit and effort. He had a player cry for him right on camera.
