Mr. Narrative and your love for Dak. Really enjoy your comical posts as does everyone else.
Buddy, you cant even figure out that QB's dont play each other.

"Dak lets purdy beat us"? Please explain that one before we get into an actual football conversation.

There’s always a glimmer of hope I suppose but not likely in our toxic atmosphere and dysfunctional organization. Dak like Romo probably enhances their odds with these fools.

How likely do you believe it is that Dak wins a Super Bowl in his career (as stated in a percentage)

Based on Dak’s rookie year, I would have guessed 60/40 in favor of Dak winning a SB.

Currently, I would put Dak’s odds at winning a SB at about 8 percent. In order for that to happen the team has to carry Dak and his heavy contract to a SB win, or Dak has to catch lightning in a bottle for 4 games (like Eli Manning).

Speak your mind, but let’s keep it civil and courteous. Thanks in advance.
I don't think Dak is the type of QB to carry a team to a superbowl, but I think if he is surrounded by the right talent, it is possible to win one.

Sadly, based on the last 20+ years, I don't have faith in the GM to put the right roster together.

Well hindsight is a wonderful thing. 10 in a row is hard to argue with and I didn’t trust Romo to stay healthy but yes if we could rewind the clock putting Romo in may have been better but he had his chance .

It was virtually the same team he failed with 2 years sooner in fact I think Murray was better. The defense would have failed him again just as it did Dak
It's possible Murray fumbled that chance away. I loved Murray....great RB, good team mate, good guy. But the fumble was costly.

Surgical? It was a meaningless game lol. That’s like gloating about scoring in preseason lol.
I didn't say it was a meaningful game. You see...this is the problem. You take things people didn't say, argue it, and claim your victory.

It made me cringe when it showed Prescott pretending to be happy on the sidelines that Romo had led the team to a seamless TD on his first drive coming in cold that season having stunk up the joint himself earlier in the game.

Speaks volumes that rather than actually finding out what an All Pro vet could do with the same team as a 4th round rookie the Cowboys couldn't wait to get him out of the game quick enough to avoid Romo lighting it up. The truth shall set you free!

Put simply, the front office bottled it at the expense of the team and fans.
The whole thing didn't make any sense to me at the time. You are riding with Dak...why put Romo in?

To keep Dak healthy, right?

Then why pull Romo and put Dak back in?

Your theory is the only thing that makes sense and it's....unbelievably stupid.

no arguments there that was a huge fumble. but thats only 1 aspect of the game we still had opportunities if my memory serves me right that was in the first half. and in the end resulted in just a FG. defense was shotty just like 16. possible miscall on dez catch.still had plenty of time for GB. Beasley underneath would have been better decision and would have ate up more clock.

Bottom line is the team failed and the team was romo led. so if were gonna bash dak for his failures that are team related then the theme should be the same. Just because there are those that love his rag to riches story and many here are still upset he got wally pipped. he had his chances and the team i thought was actually better in 14.

Didn’t claim victory….saying Romo lost the team doesn’t make you a hater get over yourself. Quit being emotional.

That Eagles team was a bad team. They sucked. They put Romo in for his final send off.

The thing that I think we have to consider is what the two QB's did to put themselves in contention. And how the defense effected the game.

I think there's more to it than just the name on the back of the jersey ....for BOTH of them.

On the surface...the bottom line is neither, right? Does anyone care that Romo scrambled around for 30 yards on a botch snap and throw the TD pass? Or miraculously escaped the clutches of defense? "In it" BECAUSE of him...not losing because.

Check this out.....do you see Dak doing these? I don't.

I know....you probably aren't interested in a Romo highlight reel. I thought I'd give a try anyway.

LOL...you glom into everything Dak like he's you special child needing your protection and call ME emotional.

Meanwhile you've provided ZERO evidence of you claim. Stop being so emotional and show me where you got your information.

It’s tough to do. Just last season if we had beat SF, we go to Philly and have to beat the best team all year. Only to face Mahomes to win it all. The NFL is awesome

Brady and Rodgers sucked last season and their teams did too. What AFC teams are feared? I get Chiefs because if Mahomes but who’s scared of the Bill or Browns? This is wild to me.

No team should be scared of Dallas either. The league is wide open. There’s no Patriots out there.
I think people just normally fear the great passers, and all of them are in the AFC. I don't know about Watson and Wilson anymore, but it does take a team. That said, the NFC only has to beat one of them to win a SB.

We're also seeing teams near to, or with elite QBs, or QBs on rookie contracts making it to the SB.

And you defend the hell out of Romo who was a perennial loser. Call to what it is. Pot meet kettle.

Here’s your evidence…..

“Romo didn't have the it factor to make people around him better. I think when I was there he thought he was bigger than the team. It was like Romo and then the team. Like nobody in the locker room is really going to respect you like that. Hatcher told 105.3's Ben and Skin. "He was a great player and got all the numbers and stuff but I'll take Dak over Romo any day because Dak has the ability to make people around him better. You'll run through a wall for Dak but Romo, hell no." - Jason Hatcher

Stick this in your pipe and smoke it.
