There have been rumors of a second season. That makes sense for a series in its first season netting eleven Primetime Emmy awards but there has not been a definite confirmation or announcement yet to my knowledge. Is Watchmen coming back? It's been while.
The series is a continuation of the movie with a different story set years later in the future.Never saw that one, but have the movie on DVD.

Glad to see the show got a mention. I enjoyed it. The core cast was well-rounded, which included a young Jason Momoa.Star Gate Atlantis
I liked the first few seasons of SG-1 because it was filled with background story details and I liked the cast, but most of the seasons after that were hard to watch. I ended up liking SGA more as it was really good throughout the series.Glad to see the show got a mention. I enjoyed it. The core cast was well-rounded, which included a young Jason Momoa.
Could not get enough interest to watch SG Atlantis; just plain burned out of anything Star Gate related.I liked the first few seasons of SG-1 because it was filled with background story details and I liked the cast, but most of the seasons after that were hard to watch. You are right about that! Not gonna make a list atm. Yellowstone and 1883 are off the charts.
Hill St. Blues is the only TV show I ever contacted the network about when they cancelled it. The very first episode and the opening theme hooked me solid. It was really the forerunner of the ensemble cast in drama and it took the viewers awhile to figure out who everyone was. After that, St. Elsewhere, LA Law, ER and NYPD Blue knew they had to give it more time. Can't believe I forgot Picket Fences. Another great show that never got the pub it deserved.
My favorite two shows of all time is Hill Street Blues and Picket Fences.
It was truly a historic show. You look at most of the top shows now and many of them resemble it in basic structure.Hill St. Blues is the only TV show I ever contacted the network about when they cancelled it. It’s funny when “enlightened” folks boast “I don’t watch TV”, isn’t it? I could do a “top 100”, couldn’t you?
