Well holy crap.

And directv had the college student deal for $99 per season.

Everyone hates cable companies ect..
Let's just all stream everything.. that will be cheaper.... Sure

The NFL uses monopolistic non competitive business practices and this is what we get.

Any gamers remember the NFL 2k series that the nfl made EA buy the exclusive rights and the quality went down the toilet.

What a bargain!! Sit in my own home (or anywhere else for that matter) and watch any Sunday afternoon game of the season for less than a single ticket. Much less all the other costs.

My experience with streaming baseball games has been a bad one.

I hope they don’t have the same problems. Gonna be frustrating as can be if so.

Freezing screens, missing plays, greyness…
YTTV is a pretty polished product. Can't see why it would be any different than anything else they stream.

I’m going to wait until the schedule comes out before making a decision.

If I can see the usual 12 or so games without it, I may just hit a bar for the others.

That won’t save any money, but generally the only ones not televised in the Northeast are the noon home games, which there aren’t many of.

So if you want the $249 price, you need to sign up a s YT subscriber and pay $80 a month, so $960 a year (yes less than DTV).
So they still get you one way or the other.

Way too much otherwise. I am looking at switching from DTV satellite, but not sure if I want DTV Stream, YT, or Hulu.
$249 is not a bad price, but it is not enough to get me to switch. I get all the Dallas games, but I do like the options of other games when Dallas is not on.

I don't think they will get too many to switch.....greed...that is all it is....But hey, it is what hey can do to make $$$, bottom line...

Have no interest in anything where you cannot just pick one team to watch.
Exactly, they would probably price that at $250 - $300 anyway, just to try and get people to go for the full package

DTV gave me NFL ST for free. Now since they do not have it, their incentive to keep me as a customer. They gave me MLB for free. So far from what I watched, not an issue.
From satellite dish, but if any issue, it switches to streaming for all channels. Pretty convenient, butt he price is too high still.

FWIW, between myself & others I know, we have tried them all. As of a year or so ago, we all agreed YTTV was the best. Both in terms of user interface & pricing. I have had it for probably 18 -24 mths and am pleased with it as a service. Is $73 too much for what I get out of it outside of sports? Yeah. But that's because I'm not into a lot of today's programming so most evenings I end up watching comedy reruns. So, it would be that way with any other as well. But as a service I think you would be happy with it.
