That's what we do.So dumb.
That's what we do.So dumb.
Totally agree with this statement!!Zach has been a warrior playing through a lot of injuries the past 2 years, but some injuries you can't play through as we saw last year. If he can get back to full health, he's still one of the best G's in the NFL.
Martin should do everything possible not to praise the Jones or Prescott in his HOF speech. He says 4-6 weeks so we will know something before the draft. Considering his decline in play and persistent injuries of late, I expect him to walk away. Sad ending to a HOF career.
Zack Martin still mulling over his football future: 'I want to try to get healthy'

NEW ORLEANS – Being in New Orleans for Super Bowl LIX is a bittersweet moment for Zack Martin. On one hand, he's the Cowboys nominee for the Walter Payton Man of the Year award, one of the most prestigious honors in the NFL.
On the other hand, he's not in town playing for a chance to win a Lombardi trophy.
"I mean, it'll be cool to experience it as a fan, but obviously wish we could have played in it at some point in my career." Martin said.

He won’t make more than the minimum. If he were to get injured his pay is guaranteed. Teams are not going to take that risk on an injury plagued aging veteran. Cowboys are not going to compete for a playoff next season. Time to move on.He can make mega $$$ with another team.
dude will be paid well.
If Zack thinks he can come back fully healthy, he should.I remember the season, before we drafted Zach Martin. Most of the zone wanted defense we were struggling horribly. But I kept saying Zach Martin, Zach Martin, I was shocked when they drafted him. But it was the right choice.
He’s had a great career, First round Hall of Fame. I would retire so you can live the rest of your life with some mobility
His leg was jacked. IR.I am still wondering how much injuries played a part in his decline last year or if it was just age. At this point I would not bother re-signing him unless he is will to work for a lot less money.

He can’t go back to Dallas.after his "i'll let my agent take care of that" mentality, and then pushing for a raise shortly after signing, anything less than him returning at a considerable discount if healthy i can do without.
As long as he goes to a legitimate contender, don't want another Emmitt situation...If he plays again I hope it would be for a team that is a contender. He Deserves a ring.
Did you know that you could look up contract information before posting here?Well technically "genius" he's under contract since we are still in the 2024 season....
But I stand corrected I thought he was under contract another year. I was wrong. So I change my stance. INstead of cutting him let him walk and move on. Make the decision for him.
Moving on from a "HOF bound veteran" is the right move. They've done it before. Ware, Witten, Romo, Emmitt...what am I missing to why they can't move on from Martin who's struggling to stay healthy?
TFred has a neuro disease.Travis Frederick retired because he wasn't able to return to the level of play that he was at before his illness. Was still a very good player, however, just not top notch like before.
I can't judge the man, but if I had the chance to maybe get to HOF level, even if it wasn't like his first couple of years, I'd have stayed on.
That's me, like I said, can't judge Frederick, I loved his play on the field.
I hope Martin will come back and try to go out with another Pro Bowl nod or at least be able to have one more really good season before he retires.
His current contract voids after the start of the 2025-26 season, which is a month away. If he were to return, the dead cap/void would be postponed, but the extension would have to be in place pretty much right away. And seeing how his last time how long it took to get to that extension his agent better be calling the Jones duo now.He can’t go back to Dallas.
there is a ton of dead cap/void money left on his last contract.
Did you know that sometimes in life you go based off what you think you know….and you don’t. I’m man enough to admit I made a mistake. Which I stated in the previous post. I changed my stance instead of cutting him let him walk…anything else I can clarify for you?Did you know that you could look up contract information before posting here?
You are literally posting from a device that lets you do that before you make dumb posts.
I don't understand what that means. He can’t go back to Dallas.

he already he admitted he was incorrect. relaxDid you know that you could look up contract information before posting here?
