That an escalator in his contract?
1000 yards in a 17 game season is no great accomplishment. That was the measuring stick for 12-14 game seasons.
How many RB's do you see being able to stay heathy enough to have a 1000 yard season?
A 1000 yds will always be a big deal.
It's not hating, it's deserved criticism. What exactly should fans be praising Elliott for?Haters out in force....you live for these guys and then you diss them them whenever you can....sad, but funny....
Most teams rotate backs these days. Jonathan Taylor leads the league with 1734. Derrick Henry played only eight games and has 937. It may be a big deal to Zeke but 1000 yards in a 17 game season isn’t that great. He hasn’t rushed for more than 69 yards in his last 11 games. He’s only had two 100 yard rushing games this entire season and still has a chance for 1000 yards because of the 17 game schedule.
After 2021 Zeke will have over 7300 career yards, he has a gaudy 4.5 average per carry. Zeke averages 1000 yards a season, so what is the problem? A 4.5 average is better than a lot of Hall of Famers like Emmitt Smith and Tony Dorsett.
He won't sniff 11,000-12,000 yards
Meaningful or not.. he aint gittin it this week.. unless the Iggles entire defensive line is out with Covid. Then again maybe the coaching staff will show some appreciation for how he has gutted it out this season and give him the ball 30 times no matter what this week.. That would be fitting..
It is deserved, not saying it isnt....i have no problem with criticism..It's not hating, it's deserved criticism. What exactly should fans be praising Elliott for?
Anything an NFL RB can manage a 1000 yards in a season it's a big deal, you don't have think, but I do.
2020 the NFL had nine 1000 rushers and a 100 with less, see what I mean?
Most fans don’t think it’s a big deal. The reason there’s not that many 1000 yard rushers is because it’s a passing league and most RBs split carries. It’s pretty simple.
