Look at him before the knee injury. He was fast abd explosive. Plus we all know he had power and blocking. He just needs to sit out when hurt I like pollard to avoid putting out bad take. He also needs a better running scheme abd left guard. I predict pollard will diss a pint with more Carrie’s this year and zeke will be fresh in the second half if the year fir the first time in years and play great.
Mxmas man and a Happy New Year!

Let me guess, all he needs is a 25 mil pay raise. There's no incentive otherwise, same for the mediocre QB, and they still won't get the job done.
No he just needs 400 carries and he’ll get 1000 yards. 600 carrie and he wins another rushing title.

For the 500th time...I'll say it

Two backs in the ENTIRE NFL averaged 20 carries a game.

ALL OTHER backs averaged under 18 carries per game. High volume RBs don't exist in the NFL anymore. And most every team uses RB by committee.Fo

For the 500th time I'll say it - WE WILL SEE...

So you're saying Pollard won't get hit when he has receptions?

Let's say he gets only 15 carries, even 5 passes a game, and he's at 20. It's not just carries I'm talking about. I said touches.

We will see what? Pollard won't be asked to carry the ball 20+ times every game. No TB really is asked to do that anymore.

It's peculiar the lengths people are going here to try to justify the stance we NEED Elliott back. Granted, nothing is as bad as Duncan claiming he knows exactly the recovery time and how effective Pollard will be going forward based off a photo.

Wow. The disrespect for Zeke here is amazing. Dude really sacrificed his body for us. He played hurt and at times was only in to provide great pass protection ... something hardly any #1 backs do anymore.

Y'all angry about his hold out? Seems like RBs got no choice after year three because if the team sits on them they may be done after the 5th year option is up.
As a player I'm sure Zeke was not worried about fans when he held out as he was doing what was best for his house, as a fan i do not hate Zeke or his holdout but i also can move on without feeling I owe him anything for what he did as he got paid just fine for it.

I like Zeke but the only way he'll make All-Pro again
is if he decides to identify as a woman and join the LFL.

Just hang tight my brother because the running back resurgence is right around the corner. As soon as all these teams start lining up a bevy of 225 pound defensive ends looking for edge speed offenses will start back ramming the ball down their throats with the run game. It may take a couple more years but you can already see it coming. The one caveat being that the league might keep changing the rules to make it so damn easy to pass that it might take a little longer for that day to arrive.
:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2:

More complete delusion!!!

I think it's fair to say that Zeke's days of being an All-Pro are in the rear-view mirror. He's still a good blocker, though!

I am not so sure . . . His game does not corrolate positively to flag Football . . . He is a little sluggish hitting the hole

Since you know everything, please give us the winning Powerball numbers for tonight.

I'm not justifying anything, it's that so many assume that Zeke is worthless, Pollard is the next Emmitt and will be the savior of the Dallas Cowboys offense, and McCarthy will use Pollard perfectly, not too much, not too little. The NFL isn't Goldilocks and the 3 bears....

Anything can happen, is what I said, you folks are making way more of this than there is to a simple comment....

LOL.

Nothing will change the minds of the Elliott fanboy crowd.
True, but I can be a fan of Elliot without being blind about his current abilities. Though I didn't know that being a fan of a Dallas Cowboys player ended just because he's gotten older and is wearing down from his best days. I enjoyed his play, I enjoy it now when he does something well, even if it's just blocking a pass rusher or busting through a would-be tackler or scoring a touchdown.

The truly blind Elliot fans are few and far between, fortunately I'm not one of them...
