This is true but some people play to this by being helpless when it benefits them then strong and whatever other adjective when it doesn't. This gives the NFL the perfect out. They can't suspend him after a year of finding nothing on him with regards to the domestic assault charges but they can use this to at least make him sit a couple of games.

They've kept an open investigation on Zeke for months on the domestic assault issue. They clearly can't find or prove anything on that front but they keep the investigation open largely as PR. But at some point, they are going to have to rule on it and conclude they found nothing.

But now they get a gift. Elliott on tape exposing a woman's breasts. Some of the woman groups are already talking about it. This gives the NFL the out. They can quietly wrap up the useless domestic violence investigation but play to the woman's groups by suspending Elliott for conduct unbecoming in this matter.

Fact is, regardless of whether or not the girl is OK with this, what Elliott did was wrong and certainly won't play well in the league office.

oh....well, I wasn't on the float, don't know their relationship or the specifics of the situation (other than a random cell phone video) to definitively declare what he did was "wrong".

I chuckled when I saw/heard about it and thought it was simply two young adults having fun. Didn't knee jerk, like many, to turn this into a sinister act of an alpha-male, millionaire predator - but that's just me. In this Country, the NFL does not work by those set of "rules". I mean, this is not a debate, this is a fact. There is no arguing this point. This is how it works here so it's pointless to make statements like the above. Nobody in this thread, that I have read, is discussing legal aspects of this. Everybody is trying to explain to you that the NFL works by a different set of rules. You are just refusing to acknowledge the obvious. how can the NFL suspend a player when there is no crime, if there was consent etc. It might not be something you or I would do, but that is not the test it seems to me. If Robespierre suspends him, it will only be to regain somehow his manhood which Brady took away from him.

I think it's fantastic that we live in a society where wealthy entitled alpha-male athletes think it's acceptable to publicly expose a woman's body. I'd have no problem if some celebrity did that to my daughter and would rail against insulting and infantilizing attempts to defend her. Perhaps some day, a brave woman will depants Zeke at a parade so he can experience the fun himself.

As a society we have an obligation to be objective, especially when accusing someone of a crime. People have a right to live differently from you, you don't have the same liberties as some others do by way of position/stature/wealth/beliefs. Women have a right to progress away from being shammed for being liberated from a male dominated controlling social construct.

If your daughter does something like this as an adult, hopefully this gives you some insight on how to treat her like a woman, and not a child.
