The worst contract extension in Cowboys history. Jerry and son should have fired themselves for making this deal and forcing the coaches top play Zeke the last two seasons. The man was done in 2020.

We can only hope they learned their lesson. But, before Zeke's contract, there was Demarco Murray...who they let walk instead of re-sign at an exhorbitant price. They didn't learn from that apparently. So, the mistake could happen again.

I always envisioned us winning a ring with Dak and Zeke after the 2016 season. It was a good run. We’ve made the playoffs more than without since getting Dak and Zeke.

Sad the era is over but it’s time. It’s the right move. I enjoyed watching Zeke become not only a good football player but a solid human being. He’s grown a lot and there was a time I didn’t expect him to. Hope he can crank a few good years out of a team somewhere.

Had to be done but I hate it.

He was an incredible player his first few years and likely over-used causing his last few year's production to significantly decrease.

I don't care how you feel about his contract situation but he laid it on the line every week and was a standup guy and a leader in the locker room.

I don't know how you can be a true Cowboy fan and saying "Good riddance", he was a true warrior on the field.

Zeke was a 4th overall pick. The minute they drafted him they were gonna re-sign him.

Beyond being an exciting player for a few years, I also like that Zeke got his money from Jerry before the team drove him into the ground. No career is guaranteed, so it was good to see the player get his money, when he deserved it.
