More good news:
While that is good news, I really don't want this hanging over our heads at the beginning of next season.
More good news:
Stick that where the sun don't shine!!!Go Cowboys!
Chiefs 31
Cowboys 20
It's Lisa, but well-played anyway...We interrupt this thread for a live interview with Linda Friel----
It appears she is a little busy at the moment. We will try again later.
Its Garrett and Linehan.....IMO also, this can't be good going week to week like this. So Zeke has to get familiar with the game plan for the week in basically two days.

This next round will be the final word on Elliott playing this season. At this point, IMHO, there is no way the actual hearing itself (not the injunction, I mean the hearing on the complaint itself) gets concluded by December. So what CA2 says regarding an injunction will cover the 2017 season.you know how many times we've heard if he get injunction he'll likely play this entire season
so the NFL will have no appeal rights if they grant another injunction? This next round will be the final word on Elliott playing this season. The next move is to have a 3-judge panel on the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals decide whether or not to make the injunction permanent or not. Each sides' next move is to file appropriate briefs for that hearing. I believe they are having it next week with a decision by the 14th (but don't quote me on that). What's the NFL's next move now?
YesBrief? Can we just let the man finish the season and handle the Law and Order details over the spring/summer? Seriously? Is this a one week exemption?
so the NFL will have no appeal rights if they grant another injunction?
In this case the butt to the hole.Said the pot to the kettle.
I can't take the mood swings I experience with all this nonsenseWhole situation is like a booger...just hanging around: can't get rid of it. I want this to be over. We need him to beat KC, but after that just serve the 6 and be done with it. Too distracting for everyone IMO.
Correct (because the USSC is not going to take a case where one party is appealing an injunction). EDIT: As links18 points out above, it would have to go to an en banc panel first and I apologize for my omission, but keep in mind this is about an injunction, not the actual case itself.... so there is no way this goes any further than CA2's 3-judge panel.so the NFL will have no appeal rights if they grant another injunction?

To be clear, this is an injunction that allows Elliott to play until the NFL and NFLPA argue their cases before Judge Failla and she renders her verdict. I do not believe that hearing has been scheduled yet and I doubt it will be heard and adjudicated by the end of the season.
