I don't completely disagree w/ the pay. Overpaying a few positions always leads to early playoff exits. I would not have paid Zeke, I would've told him to play out his contract or sit out the next 3 years and make nothing while we franchise him and his prime passes him by.
Workhorse backs are the most important type of backs. "Hitting HR's" really doesn't mean all that much, it's more of a grey area that has a ton to do w/ what type of O a team is running and such.
From what I've seen, the best models of success, especially in this area, don't have one guy doing it all. In my conclusion, I'm seeing that who scores the TD is irrelevant. And using that one stat to come to a final conclusion makes the argument weak, IMO.
