No more silly then your lame point that we win with Zeke. Zeke is definitely not the best player on the team. He also plays one of the least important positions on the team. I cant think of ONE game that we won because of ZEke this year. Not ONE.

You dont figure anything out later. You build your team with a plan and with the salary cap in mind.

Cowboys screwed up taking Zeke early and now they have to compound that mistake by signing him to big money.
Man no one would ever give Heath 15 million.....talking about a lame point.....that’s just pure stupidity to even suggest that Heath is the caliber of Zeke at the safety position. And how many games have we won because of Zeke? You didn’t just see Sunday’s game? This is just dumb. If you don’t like him or didn’t want to sign him ok. But you don’t have to devalue him order to get your point across.

your acting like 1500 is a bad number??? you do know that only like 3-4 rb in the leauge will get that much so what is the problem? this isnt madden we cant pick the top leader in every category and create a super team dude.

For $108 million, I expect him to not only lead all NFL runningbacks in every statistical category, I also expect him to either set or come close to setting franchise records every year.

Dalvin Cook? Dude can't even stay on the field. Man, if someone wants to compare Zeke to someone, at least pick someone in the same stratosphere.

What continuously cracks me up is how so many people don't understand chain movers and tough yards. Too much FF, I guess.

Saquon is more fun to watch, Zeke is more conducive to winning games. Esp the last couple where he's finally showing some spring in his step.
dude i totally agree its pathetic honestly. when Zeke lead the league in rushing, 900 of his yards were after contact he had the most yac in the league by anyone. so that means without the line he got 900 yards after getting wrapped up/or someone attempting the tackle. but people just love to complain man. they think its madden and you can just trade because someones doing better at the moment. Zeke is the most consistent great back we've had since emmitt. no debate.

dude the only reason why dalvin is not getting paid that is because this is his break out season. he will get high pay numbers as did Todd gurley. you dont get that? Zeke deserves what he asked for. he led the league twice, and would of led it all three years if it wasn't for the suspension. so after three years of dominating they paid him to keep him. if he stays top 10 which he will for a very long time, the fact that he isnt number 1 we just say oh this guy is doing better zekes a waste, is pathetic and ignorance.

Oh boy, another poster who only cares about his fantasy stats and thinks that real football is like Madden.

Dude has five 100 yard games already.

Apparently, this no longer matters. It's the yards the running back didn't get that we care about.

Of course, our historical bias is that we're not examining game film of other great backs in league history and focusing on the yards they "left on the field." We just assume that they made every safety miss and turned every negative-yardage possibility into positive yardage.

Zeke had a good game last night. He did an excellent job at finding cutback lanes last night. But when he gets to the 2nd level untouched, he turns into Troy Hambrick. Dude doesn't have the quickness to make safeties miss - Pollard is already better at setting up safeties for those huge runs. It's the difference between a 10+ yard run and a housecall.

1:29, 1:46, and 2:16 - He just has to make the safety miss and it's likely a TD.

The top paid running back in the league should be making these plays.

he’s the 8th highest paid RB this season.

People need to pay attention. Zeke is a patient running back. Also he does face 8 man fronts like whoa, it’s just different there’s always 3 or 4 guys waiting for him once he hits that second level. When I see Barkley hit a wide open hole , there’s hardly anyone around him. I’m telling you Zeke hasn’t lost a step. You’ll see . I honestly think he’s just gonna explode this second half of the season.

Seriously. Wow. I will say he has cut in looking for contact instead of cutting out a few times but most defenses are playing the run. We played the egirls and they were #2 against the run. Elliot was dragging defenders to 111 yards. Hambrick couldn’t do that or he would have been paid.

THIS! Hambrick was TERRIBLE! PLEASE

Zeke has 1 run of 20 yards or more this season. One. All of the other top rushers in the league had 5 or 6. Zeke's longest is 27 yards. I am not taking anything away from Zeke, but how do you explain these facts? Is this something to worry about long term? The OL is giving him huge roles to run through and he is hitting the holes almost every time, which is the good. But the question is, is he getting the most out of those holes? Is he slowing down or just making poor decisions? I could argue he is just not making the right cuts at times - he's cutting inside instead of breaking outside, etc. But it could also be he doesn't trust his own speed anymore.

Call us crazy or whatever, I really don't care, but this thread or threads like it are not going to go away until Zeke breaks one for 50 yards or so. Right now he is a workhorse back getting paid like a home run threat.
