he lost a lot of weight when he cut his hair, and took off some of those earrings
No new material? Very disappointing!he lost a lot of weight when he cut his hair, and took off some of those earrings
he averaged an outstanding 4 yards per carry!! I've been hard on him and will continue to be, but I have to applaud him as well, solid job!!! (can I get my hug now????)No new material? Very disappointing!
Yep. That’s it.It’s smart.
They just need TDs and 1st downs from him.
The game dictated much of what happened to our offense. Play conservative, predictable plays, dont turn it over. Like last years first two games, you cant really get much as far as what the offense looks like after week 1.Nope. It was very evident that Zeke was a lighter version of the one who left the team a few years ago. However, it didn't really translate into much. He had 10 carries for 40 yards.
When he was taking shots head on he got criticized. Just can't win?The most tale-tale sign I saw with Zeke is that he TURNED HIS BACK to contact and kept spinning. Spinning is what smaller, agile backs to avoid contact...Zeke ain't that.
Loved his blocking and short yardage nose though. If we can keep him to a pseudo-fullback, Linus blanket for Dak...cool...
right!!!! if he had a single digit number, he'd be as slim as MAZI was last year!!!The number 15 makes him look more slimmer.
That's why I would hang on to Dalvin Cook. Cook could come on late in the season and provide fresh legs in the backfieldhe looked like the same slow zeke to me. zeke always looked good in his first five to six game then after that he just disappears and you get just flashes of good plays after that. then once he gets to the playoffs he is finished. our running game is just screwed this year.
What plays were those? Please point them out and I will go back and watch for them.
Maybe the handoff was late.
I remember that exact play! I still feel that it would add a dimension to our offense that other teams definitely would not expect.Zeke came into the league being lauded for having wide receiver like hands. I still remember that 47 yarder he caught against the Lions in that one game where he basically ran a 9 route and Dak dropped it in the bucket and Zeke caught it over the shoulder like a wide receiver. The Cowboys have never truly taken advantage of that aspect of his game but in fairness with the exception of those first 5 games of 2018 they've always had at least one badass receiver and a legit tight end who they felt were better options in the passing game. It was no surprise to me that in New England where they didn't have a lot of weapons Zeke had a very productive year as a receiver. But unless some team comes out and completely blankets all of our other receivers Zeke will remain an afterthought in the passing game here.. and I bet he's just fine with that.. so long as we're winning.
Lots of people "beef up" after they sign a ridiculous contract extension. Zeke was a god tier physical specimen whose consistently showed a lack commitment and professionalism, was rewarded with an insane contract, and instantly tanked. His career journey is no secret, it is no mystery nor is it any different than many who came before him. The real tragedy is that we as an organization never ever learn or adapt or overcome.I wonder why Zeke beefed up in the first place

Lack of commitment? He only did every single thing the Cowboys asked of him...including playing hurt. Barkley sits for a hang nail and Zeke plays with MCL.Lots of people "beef up" after they sign a ridiculous contract extension. Remember the days the Cowboys FORCED him to raise a hand to get a breather? People like you made fun of him for it, but Garrett had not roational plan. "Raise your hand when you need a spall Zeke" was the (idiotic) "plan".
Not sure there's a stat for it but tell me what star running back blocks as much as he did/does?
"not committed"...dude...er I mean dudette..please come on. I get you dont; like him but he gave EVERYTHING to the Cowboys, including a long career.
Andhere's the part where I get ridiculed for stating the facts, right?
Like I said god tier level athlete (when not suspended), got paid early, fell off face of earth. Spin it however you want but I am also just spitting facts. To say the man was committed to being the best player he could be for the Dallas Cowboys is just not true IMHO. He was a selfish individual who got by on his insane athletic abilities until he got his bag.Lack of commitment? He only did every single thing the Cowboys asked of him...including playing hurt.
