I have seen several reports about this, that apparently the rookie contracts all contain a clause nowdays that if a player is suspended for whatever reason, he loses all the guaranteed money on his contract. Thus, if Zeke is suspended he loses millions in guaranteed money on his contract as the 4th overall pick. So if Zeke gets seriously hurt, the team can release him and not have to pay him a dime since none of the money on his contract is guaranteed anymore. That's good for the team I guess, but sounds pretty bad for Zeke.

I feel bad for the guy, he gets suspended by the league, gets labeled a woman beater, loses all his guaranteed money................man, that crazy chick sure did a number on him.

Hey clearly you didn’t pay attention to the judges rulings. Zeke will not suffer any loss or irreparable harm by this suspension because football is controlled carnage.

I don’t believe that is right
He could lose a portion but not all of his guaranteed money
I believe he would lose around 1.5 mill plus his pay for those 6 games

see above, witnesses have given sworn affadavits saying they heard TT tell Zeke "you're a black male athlete, I'm a white girl. Nobody will believe you!"
oh........ I misread the post premise. Yes, I believe TT is looking to work Zeke and use bottom of the barrel angles. I thought the poster meant the "system" was after him because he's black and she's white. My bad but Jack Johnson is still a good read and a great sports history character.

Doesn't matter at all.. The problem here is Zeke was blinded by....well....the thing all guys want especially when we are DRUNK, Happy, and on top of the world. He got OWNED..... He is just going to have to pay for it and hopefully learn the lesson. This happened AFTER he got drafted by the Cowboys. What is sad to me is he didn't have anyone telling him this kind of thing can now happen easily. Maybe they did and he didn't listen. I am not saying the chick wasn't evil here but Zeke is paying now for being a complete and utter DOLT....
Surely you arent saying players should abstain from intercourse.

LOL NO! Are you crazy BUT they should have disclosure agreements and all the things the guys in Hollywood have ready to go at a moments notice! You think Leo DiCaprio bangs any and every girl? Come on... you gotta protect yourself when blackmail can easily happen and millions are at stake.

I hear you bro, crazy comes in all shapes, sizes, colors, ect....

True story, one of my college buddies from UT got involved with this girl he met down on 6th street. I told him not to, the bars on 6th street are not exactly the place you go to find your sole mate, lol. Anyways, she was pretty hot and didn't mind giving it up, if you know what I mean.

Everything was ok for a couple of weeks and then the crazy started. She would call him 20 times a day, send him text messages every 5 min, if he didn't immediately respond she would start accusing him of cheating on her, she then started to demand to see his phone each day to see who called him and who he called, she started waiting at his apartment when he got home in the evenings, it literally was bat chit crazy type of stuff.

Long story short, he broke up with her but he had to get a new cell number, he moved to a new apartment, he basically had to go off the gird in terms of social media because he was scared she would track him down if he posted stuff on Facebook or Twitter, the dude literally had to go into hiding. I asked him if banging her for a couple of weeks was worth it and he just looked down at the ground and didn't say a word, lol.

So the moral of this story fellas is to be very careful who you get involved with nowdays, because it can be a nightmare if you find a crazy.

lived in Austin for 20+ years, avoid dirty 6th at all costs

and the public's perception of the NFL in how it handles DV is more important than one man's lifelong reputation
It is endemic of where we are moving in society. The value of the individual versus the value of a collective.

The above is the key difference in the American democracy (constitution) and jurisprudence versus European democracy and jurisprudence.

Almost every issue can be boiled down to those competing views...though rarely consistently applied
