it's funny because there are many who see Jim Morrison as one of the 1st to introduce a "rap" style w/i his music. And to boot, during interviews with him and his predictions on the future of music, it sounds eerily similar to rap/hip-hop.

As far as rhyming? That goes back way beyond Morrison. But with all the elements of hip hop. That's simply a different beast.
