(IMO) The only players that should be absolved of blame are Zeke, Dez, Bailey, and maybe Heath. Everybody else didn't play great the entire time they were in.

Fair enough, those were just the group that I thought brought it the entire time they were in. Sadly that was fairly rare thanks to the first half stupor the team seemed to be in.

When you fall behind by 18 points in the second quarter you're going to throw more than you would if you were up by 7. The game plan changed due to the deficit.

I do agree with not checking out of a run into a pass all the time, just because they load the box. If it's short yardage, I'm still giving it to Zeke most of the time. They WANT us to check into a throw.

If course i generally agree, but the deficit came about largely because Zeke wasn't involved from the start.

I would taken a simple thing. Just for the offense to control the ball on the ground and keep the ball out of Rodgers hand's. We done that so well all year. Then the last 5 weeks or so it just stopped. Penalties on offense

I think getting down 21-3 in a blink of an eye had more to do with the limited touches than the game plan. And as far as his int goes.. that was just a very awful pass, Looked to me like he missed his target by several feet, like he was throwing to Dez but Dez was the blocker.. the WR was behind Dez. That was just an awful play by Dak.

I think u stick with the supposed game plan even down 21-3. Run the football and be physical. Had a chance at short yardage on first drive and threw. Had a chance at 2 and 1 on play you touched on and threw. 3rd and short going in for winning score with timeout and also trying to burn clock...and threw. Down 21-10 in redzone at end of 1st half and threw 3 straight times.

Score didn't dictate any of those decisions at the time. Just something we individually or collectively opted to do. That is a betrayal of our identity as a team and our core belief in physical football. We killed ourselves by taking the knife Rodgers had raised and cutting our own throats. Blunder of epic proportions in my view.

And Cowboys ran same play, same formation in Week 6. GB knew exactly what was coming. That's coaching.

Even if there were 8 in box, half of them were DBs. GB and Capers were just praying that we would choose to pass even though Pack went with 5 DBs most of the game.

It's not Linehan's fault. We got into a shootout with Aaron Rodgers. That's why we lost. You don't get into shootouts with Aaron Rodgers. You impose your will on the Packers and make them play to your tone. We played catch up the entire game because Garrett was settling for FGs early and our defense couldn't stop anything.

Agreed with everything except part that Linehan did not deserve any share of the blame. Linehan went pass happy again, and Garrett let him.

Well, seeing how the excuse always is that Romo never has a defense and that's why he can't advance us to the next level, I don't see a 36-year-old injury-prone Romo doing any better in this game.
He didn't outduel Rodgers in 2014. I doubt he would have done so yesterday.

This doesn't make sense. The Cowboys D isn't a factor in whether or not Romo would shred the Packers' defense. And did you just use a game that Romo played very well in, only had 19 pass attempts, and with 2 different teams 2 years ago as a reason he wouldn't have shredded them?

Even if you do all that (foolishly IMO) and you think he wouldn't have done better, that's fine. It's not unreasonable to think he wouldn't have done better. It's also not unreasonable to think he would have.
