He’s done it twice already. He will need to average 25 carries per game to average 100 yards in a game. He would need to play in all 17 to get 1700 yards. Given the number of times he taps out after a little 10 yard gain, I would not bet on him. About 10 RBs would have to get hurt first for him to be in the running. And he would have to give up the low key fading, which he can’t.
If we are lucky, Pollard will get a fair chance and true competition as starter.
I don’t get the fascination with Pollard
I get that he’s “the other guy”, which is enough for some to buy into the “I loved him when” aspect, but he’s a good backup, nothing more. Never showed he’s capable of being an elite runner.
I’m happy to have him but I think he’s overrated here at CZ.

Rely on Diggs, Gallimore, a bunch of rookie draft picks, and undrafted free agents to carry the team.
Anyone think the $40M QB, $20M WR, and $15M RB will carry this team anywhere?
not with KM as the OC and not being so pass heavy with WRs etc and Daks deal..this is now a pas first team and not zekes fault that for sure..
IMHO np way he has shot at the RT due to lack of commitment to the run game by Kellen boy genius moore or should i say Run No moore

Yup, Dak winning MVP, Zeke winning rushing title, Cowboys winning Super Bowl, and everyone is in the best shape of their lives.
It's the typical Cowboys off season.
8-9 incoming.
He will. Dak will also lead the lead in passing TDs and win MVP.
Which analysts Fish? Yourself?! I'll stick w/Derrick Henry of the Titans. He joined the 2,000-yard club last season & w/that additional game has a realistic shot of becoming the first player w/two 2,000-yard seasons or even to break Dickerson's single-season record.
Unlike Ewok, Derrick Henry improves each season.
Are you saying carry the team with a bad defense or carry the team with a good defense? Or are you saying that the quality of the defense doesnt matter?
Those paid the most have not delivered and are not likely to deliver. Dak $40M, Cooper $20M, Elliott $15M, Lawrence $20M, Jaylon $10M, Tyron $10M, Collins $10M. That is $125M of a $182M cap and they have failed to deliver year after year. So, these 7 players just sell ticket to gullible fans and are just gravy at this point. If they bring something to the table, then fine. Hopefully, they do. I am not expecting much from those 7 players. Need the new youngsters - UFAs, recent draft picks, and free agents to carry the load. The team will go as far as the youngsters can carry those making the big bucks. Shouldn't be that way but it is.
That's assuming that he averages 4 yards per carry, which he did last year while banged up and running behind a makeshift line with backup QBs starting most of the season. We should probably expect 4.5 or better if the offense stays healthy. He's averaged 4.5 or better in three of his five seasons.
