MM does not like to run the football consistently. Neither does Kellen Moore. Pass on this

He will need to average 25 carries per game to average 100 yards in a game. He would need to play in all 17 to get 1700 yards. Given the number of times he taps out after a little 10 yard gain, I would not bet on him. About 10 RBs would have to get hurt first for him to be in the running. And he would have to give up the low key fading, which he can’t.

If we are lucky, Pollard will get a fair chance and true competition as starter.
He’s done it twice already.

I don’t get the fascination with Pollard

I get that he’s “the other guy”, which is enough for some to buy into the “I loved him when” aspect, but he’s a good backup, nothing more. Never showed he’s capable of being an elite runner.

I’m happy to have him but I think he’s overrated here at CZ.

Without getting into the Zeke v Pollard stuff, Pollard is actually really good. Not overated at all.

He is tied with Henry for the best yards after contact average in the league and tied with Chubb for most broken tackles. He's has 4.8 yards per carry and 7 yards per reception. He's only fumbled once.

Ill tell you what................if Zeke cant win the rushing title in this offense with all the carries he gets, then he should quit. Theres only about 3 or 4 guys in the NFL that get 300 carries a year. So its basically a dumbed down race between 3 or 4 guys. At least one guy usually gets hurt so its 2 or 3 guys that even have a shot at it based on number of carries.

Total combined yards and TD's are the barometer for todays back.

Never showed he was capable of being an elite runner? Do you mean he never got the opportunity or are you saying that with the few chances he gets he doesnt look good?

Rely on Diggs, Gallimore, a bunch of rookie draft picks, and undrafted free agents to carry the team.

Anyone think the $40M QB, $20M WR, and $15M RB will carry this team anywhere?

Are you saying carry the team with a bad defense or carry the team with a good defense? Or are you saying that the quality of the defense doesnt matter?

not with KM as the OC and not being so pass heavy with WRs etc and Daks deal..this is now a pas first team and not zekes fault that for sure..

IMHO np way he has shot at the RT due to lack of commitment to the run game by Kellen boy genius moore or should i say Run No moore

This team is a pass first team because its better that way. Zeke cant carry the offense. We have seen that. When the Cowboys spread the field and play at a faster pace they are at their best. When they plod along and try to establish the run they stall. And they lack big play ability.

Kellen Moore has actually tried to stick with Zeke to a fault. Its the reason the offense on occassion has gotten off to a slow start. Moore needs to stop trying to feature Zeke and move the offense forward. He also needs to give Pollard more touches as he is a better style back for our offense.

Which analysts Fish? Yourself?! I'll stick w/Derrick Henry of the Titans. He joined the 2,000-yard club last season & w/that additional game has a realistic shot of becoming the first player w/two 2,000-yard seasons or even to break Dickerson's single-season record.

Unlike Ewok, Derrick Henry improves each season.

That's assuming that he averages 4 yards per carry, which he did last year while banged up and running behind a makeshift line with backup QBs starting most of the season. We should probably expect 4.5 or better if the offense stays healthy. He's averaged 4.5 or better in three of his five seasons.

Yup, Dak winning MVP, Zeke winning rushing title, Cowboys winning Super Bowl, and everyone is in the best shape of their lives.

It's the typical Cowboys off season.

8-9 incoming.

And in swoops the TROLL HATER with his brilliant input. Dont cry like a baby when people call you a troll or a hater. This is exactly why.

He will. Dak will also lead the lead in passing TDs and win MVP.

Amazing how the Cowboys always start out slow when we were up 14-7 on the Browns in the first quarter.

And then that prevent defense? Cowboys were never more than 8 points down at any time during the Seahawks game. Actually had the lead with 4 minutes to go in the game.

Browns game....................Cowboys were within 3 points with 2 minutes to go. Defense just had to make a stop and we probably win that one.

Rams game.................20-17...........no prevent there either. Poor trolls they just keep getting kicked around the board.

Kamara had 21 TD's last year. And he didnt need 350 touches to get them. He had 16 rushing TD's on only 187 carries. Got the rest in the passing game. That's a top of the line back. And he did all that with Brees and Michael Thomas out for half of the year.

Those paid the most have not delivered and are not likely to deliver. Dak $40M, Cooper $20M, Elliott $15M, Lawrence $20M, Jaylon $10M, Tyron $10M, Collins $10M. That is $125M of a $182M cap and they have failed to deliver year after year. So, these 7 players just sell ticket to gullible fans and are just gravy at this point. If they bring something to the table, then fine. Hopefully, they do. I am not expecting much from those 7 players. Need the new youngsters - UFAs, recent draft picks, and free agents to carry the load. The team will go as far as the youngsters can carry those making the big bucks. Shouldn't be that way but it is.

Zeke hasn't delivered, that is for sure. Dak's first year getting over 2 million per year he got hurt so he is off the list. Doesnt apply.

And what is it that is supposed to be "delivered"?

I would never expect a receiver to carry an offense with Dalton as QB.

Your list seems not only inaccurate, but way off.

I believe last year's team put up some of the best offensive numbers for a Cowboys' team. 7th Best in team history if I remember correctly. And that was with a depleted OL, backup QB, a RB on the decline, and a new HC.

Why pay a RB $15M if he is an abject failure without an All-Pro OL? The excuses just never stop for some players.
