Zeke hasn't delivered, that is for sure. Dak's first year getting over 2 million per year he got hurt so he is off the list. Doesnt apply.

And what is it that is supposed to be "delivered"?

I would never expect a receiver to carry an offense with Dalton as QB.

Your list seems not only inaccurate, but way off.

Take away Dak's rookie year and what do you have? Mediocrity. Take away Elliott's rookie year and what do you have? Mediocrity.
Dalton was not chopped liver. Starting-level QB in the NFL. No excuse.
Cooper has never carried any team. Good player, just not dominate.
Collins and Tyron are mediocre at this point with age and injuries.
Lawrence and Jaylon? Mediocre and below mediocre.

Delivered means to the promised land, deep into the playoffs, a SB appearance.

Lost burst, declining line, Pollard's touches, McCarthy's influence over the offense, a QB who can't score points until his team falls behind double digits and the defense goes into prevent mode.

Doubt it.
Harsh yet relevant again.

I am less interested in him winning the rushing title than I am in him hanging onto the football.

The offense has to reduce turnovers. And he's the primary culprit.

And in swoops the TROLL HATER with his brilliant input. Dont cry like a baby when people call you a troll or a hater. This is exactly why.
"and in swoops the TROLL HATER". That sounds very heroic.

I'm confused. Are you calling me a hater of trolls? Are you alluding to me being some kind of hero? If so, that's cute.

Amazing how the Cowboys always start out slow when we were up 14-7 on the Browns in the first quarter.

And then that prevent defense? Cowboys were never more than 8 points down at any time during the Seahawks game. Actually had the lead with 4 minutes to go in the game.

Browns game....................Cowboys were within 3 points with 2 minutes to go. Defense just had to make a stop and we probably win that one.

Rams game.................20-17...........no prevent there either. Poor trolls they just keep getting kicked around the board.
"Rams game.................20-17...........no prevent there either."

That's why we only scored 17 points....

I think he was saying you’re a troll and a hater and he would be right on both counts.

I don’t get the fascination with Pollard

I get that he’s “the other guy”, which is enough for some to buy into the “I loved him when” aspect, but he’s a good backup, nothing more. Never showed he’s capable of being an elite runner.

I’m happy to have him but I think he’s overrated here at CZ.
This fan-base has always had an obsession with "the other guy"

Remember Tashard Choice? Haha

Sounds right to me. With Dak back and hopefully decent health on the line Zeke will get his.

Zeke will only win a rushing title if he breaks a bunch of long runs.
At this point he is more of a grinder that has no breakaway speed and goes down on first contact.

I’m excited to see these quick starts and big leads this guy is magically talking about. It will be a change from our decade run of starting flat

Not the biggest Zeke fan, but if he can break some big plays early in the season, meaning 20+ yards plays, that will lift the entire offense. He then becomes a focus for the defense and takes pressure off of Dak. We know what we have with the WR's. A really good group. Can Zeke return from being a short yardage power back to a game changer?

I think he is going to have a good year, but not enough carries to be the rushing champ. Lot's of catches, though.
Dallas was winning more when the focus of the offense was going through Zeke. He seems to have lost his burst and has become more of a consistent power style of RB. It would be a major positive for the offense if he returned to playing up to 75% of his past abilities.

Using Zeke and Pollard correctly could easily result in some long gains.
Dont have to have super stars at the RB position but it is a nice luxury item to have and should eliminate some of the excuses if Moore cant elevate this running game, evolve this running game considering this OL is returning healthy at the moment, and we actually have a healthy QB, offense overall will improve from just players returning period.
At has been mentioned that Pollard has add some strength and size witch would only be natural, but hearing it confirms his evolution.
We need Pollard to be better than he was, what we thought he was, and what he needs to be.
If that happens, and I feel good about seeing that, then Zeke is better and this entire running game is better. Pollards one of those we take for granted, like Gallup

Pollard is not a starting RB, why do people insist he is better than he really is. No way he is even close to Zeke's level to carry the load for a full season.

If you've been a Cowboys fan for more than 15 minutes you already know.. The backup running back is always better than the starter until he becomes the starter.. Hambrick/Emmitt, Barber/Julius, Felix/Barber Murray/Felix and now Pollard/Zeke.. It's a never ending soap opera for this fan base.. Hopefully the line will be healthy and Zeke won't get his in the backfield all the time this year and both he and Pollard can ball out. Then of course people will find something else to complain about..
