Zeke: We have to commit to the run

4 of the 8 penalties on the offense were DURING PASS plays and 3 were pre-snap false starts so no way of knowing what the actual play was. In any case the worst case on those 3 plays would be that the next play would be 1st and 15.. which given how Zeke was running should still not preclude calling another run play. This notion that we automatically have to pass any time there's a penalty needs to be put to bed once and for all. I am sick of Kellen Moore to be perfectly honest and I can't get excited about this team until he's gone.

Let's not get it twisted, I agree we need to rum in and stay with it. But there's more to it then just handing it off. Our main issues is teams are forcing us to stay patient and drive the ball with double digit plays and not make a mistake and if we do, try and overcome them . That's hard for any team.

Let's get real. The only chance we have is to play sound defense and run the ball. We have a backup QB that has had one start in his life. One number 2 wideout and 4 number 4 wideouts. Slightly better then average pass catching Tight End who can't block and only one good O Lineman. Unless Zeke can turn back time to his second year in the league and have the same O line we had then, we are flat out hosed. This isn't Daks fault. He is what he is. This is 100 percent Steven and Jerry trying to be cute and pinch pennies.

We know who's next to get cut. Last season Cooper made mention of getting more targets (especially on 3rd down) they shipped him out for a nickel and a package of Skittles in the offseason. Zeke is right, but he may have to pay for that statement when the season is over.

Well, this coaching staff probably won't be here with an unsuccessful season. So, it would have to be FO for that to happen. I can see them working out Zekes contract to be much more team friendly, next season.

If we run Zeke over 20 Carrie's a game he won't make it till the end of the season. That said if we run the ball 80 percent of the time and Pollard's gets a dozen carrys per game we have a shot if the defense plays out of its mind. I see us throwing less then 20 times per game and most of those will be short throws.

Then Zeke tell your fellow teammates to stop with the penalties, it affects call runs when your 1st and 15 or first in 20.
Don't played scared, you can't give up the run because you're afraid of penalties. When you run over 20+ times a game to Zeke some will break long, like what happened to us last week. Give Pollard another 10+.

Put Peters at guard next week nest to Smith and pound the crap out of the ball. Coop is smart and will catch them peeking and also put some behind them, heck maybe to Gallup on his triumphed return.

Don't play scared!

He will pay.....that's seen a mile away. He assumes the Fall Guy role again, now that Dak is out.

You're not playing scared . You're trying to win a ball game, penalties are momentum busters

So when he keeps running and it’s not working and they keep running all as we will hear is what a idiot KM is like previous years. So Sunday here comes the run and Monday the why are they running, everyone knows what coming . Down 14 , 17 points keep running the ball.
I don't see anyone saying that. Why are you doing this?

Just because you "commit" to the run...doesn't mean you stop playing football. You still have to have some versatility and variety. 10 carries for Zeke? And all you can do is exaggerate? Come on...

Well Zeke, i know you are an "I" man.
But at least dont forget about your buddy Tony. He had 6 carries.
So doesn't "commit to the run" also mean Tony Pollard?

I had high hopes for this thread but the haters still come out the woodwork.

No. Because he was asked are ten enough and he answered "no". and 10 was his amount of carries not pollards.

so please read before you judge.

The thing is, we don’t and have not seen any 8 man fronts [possibly different with Rush] since before the Denver game.

Teams simply play Nickel/Dime and rush 4/5 and we are unable to beat it consistently.
If your starting running back is injured and the team insist on playing him, then that's what you get.

SO they personally asked him if his 10 carries were enough...he said no...of course. He answered the freaking question. And all you get out of it selfishness.

Haters hate. Own it and be proud...condescending is so unbecoming.

Well Zeke, how about you don't come out of the game for breather after 2 carries.
How about idiot Moore designs a better run game substitution plan?

He makes Zeke do it for him, then instead of subbing in Tony like a ninja it's plain for the defense to see.
