But we suffer to many penalties a lot pre snap that put you behin the chains. I dont get yall sometimes.
You can't run consistently like that .

Yep, this OL is not consistent or disciplined enough to have 12 to 15 play drives and score TDs.... penalties, drops and bone headed plays result in long yardage situations that get you out of just running the ball. You combine that with Dak and now Cooper too scared to run the ball and you wind up with a pass heavy offense, especially once you get behind a couple of scores.

I don't see anyone saying that. Why are you doing this?

Just because you "commit" to the run...doesn't mean you stop playing football. You still have to have some versatility and variety. 10 carries for Zeke? And all you can do is exaggerate? Come on...
You can’t run the ball time after time when you are way behind the clock will not allow it.

Nobody said run time after time. Not sure where you are getting this narrative. But....10 carries? Fir a 2 time rushing champion? That like 2 carries a qtr.....but most in the first half.

You dont find this disturbing? Not like zeke was failing. 5 yards a carry early on.

Welll okay then....whatever.

Last year.....even when brady was running minute drill on us....he still ran the ball. He knows you have to.
Im not saying totally apples to apples. But....just proof of keeping the run on the table.

The 3 and outs hurt and Dak’s problems killer much running they still ran Pollard also but throwing stops the clock on a incomplete pass, Watch the game again it wasn’t as bad as you think.

Yes you can.
If you want to lose the only reason most OC run when far behind is to try and keep the D honest. If you want run great just don’t apply for a OC job.

That’s always been his problem. He has no feel for the game just like JG. They don’t have an offense, just a play sheet. Moore is still 6th in passing yards all time in the NCAA. It’s no wonder he hates to run……

Yep.. I called it on Garrett the day he was hired as OC when he announced that we would "take what the defense gives us." That is the worst approach you can ever have as an OC. Smart defensive coordinators make it so they "give" you a pile o dung. Guys like Moore and Garrett simply want to plug a play and the down and distance into a formula and then run it based on the defensive alignment. Problem is, DCs have access to the same "formula" so they line up a certain way knowing that it will result in a finite set of calls from our offense. And they can tailor their defensive game plan to neuter it. Good DCs who also have good personnel have done this to our offense since 2007. The reason the offense has still been able to destroy lesser defenses has been sheer talent. When the talent is equal to ours or even better our offense gets stuck in mud.. and this "paint by numbers" approach to play calling is the main reason why. It's why the offense ALWAYS worked better when we went hurry up and let Romo call the plays and why in a lot of cases it has looked better with Dak for much the same reason. Dak is not quite on the level Romo eventually got to for his ability to just ball out in no-huddle.. but he's getting there.. and his getting there frankly is our only hope at this point.

We know who's next to get cut. Last season Cooper made mention of getting more targets (especially on 3rd down) they shipped him out for a nickel and a package of Skittles in the offseason. Zeke is right, but he may have to pay for that statement when the season is over.

Probably, they run him because he's making a lot of money, have to placate the fans who think just because he gets paid handsomely somehow he can run through 300 lb linemen, 250 lb linebackers and juke his way out from two would-be tacklers who are in the backfield before he can take two steps.

Ain't it amazing what money can do?

Fans want you to stick with what is working. > 5 ypc in the run game definitely "working." The passing game was in the crapper all game but somehow we managed to stick with that.. Why?

Fans are fickle. My guess is they were desperate for points especially because Tom was control the game.

Zeke's not going anywhere. The owner/gm has made the same statement. If it doesn't materialize soon the OC or the headcoach will be in harms way.

But how is Moore going to get his next job running a dull offense dedicated to running?

If Jimmy Johnson were on the sideline sunday, he would have taken away Moore's headset at halftime.

The Cowboy offense is too predictable, and the most predictable part is that we will give up on the run.

With the way the running game was working had they simply suck with it they likely would have matched Tampa FG for FG and then once it got late it would have been anybody's game. The passing game absolutely was not working. Blame Dak, blame the receivers, blame the line hell blame Zeke if you want.. but when the running game struggles it's automatic that we will pass more.. But if the passing game is pooping the bed why isn't the solution ever to run it more? I cannot for the life of me figure that one out.

I’ll repeat it once again we’ll never win pounding the ball all day. We need to create some plays down the field if we’re going to score. We commit so many penalties that put us behind the chains making it difficult to run consistently. Every time we have a good drive going with the run a holding call or false start pops up. We need some explosiveness but we don’t have the players. Everyone we play is going to sell out to stop the run and force Cooper Rush to beat them.

If you are running the ball good that can lead to some nice passing in the game. Not asking for the early 90’s boys on running but you have to stick with it more than they did against TB.
