We have Zeke!!! Oh, wait........"We like who we have"

It's foolish to not get the 5 or whatever it is million this year. He can skip this season miss out on 5 million but must show up next year if he wants to become a FA. It's foolish.Good for Zeke. He should get his money while he can.
It's pretty clear that Zeke and his agent have no interest in anything near Gurley's deal. They want to set a new market.Stephen Jones stated that the Gurley deal is the floor, so this is not really news to me. Sometimes the Jones talk waaaay too much,
Jerry has said that, but I wonder if that is just the company line or does he really believe it.The source added that at this time, it is not likely that Elliott's holdout continues into the regular season, based on the belief that Cowboys owner Jerry Jones wants to get a new deal done with the running back before Week 1.
If they talk at all, that's too much.Stephen Jones stated that the Gurley deal is the floor, so this is not really news to me. Sometimes the Jones talk waaaay too much,
As I said, the defenses was allowing the running yards to pile up because they was running time out. That tends to make the YPA look good. That was a bad year for the entire offense, or I should say lack of offense.
Or they are backtracking on that statement and Zeke is having none of it.It's pretty clear that Zeke and his agent have no interest in anything near Gurley's deal. They want to set a new market.
I guarantee our OL wants Zeke back more than anyone else. He makes them look as good as they make him look. The offensive line still showed that they made the running game go. And that they made running backs, not the other way around.
He wouldn't be a "replacement", he and a committee would be.
I would too, if I was him. It's pretty clear that Zeke and his agent have no interest in anything near Gurley's deal. They want to set a new market.
If only!
I personally don't think you could find another GM that would do it.
Not with having to then pay him a boatload of money, and then having to worry about his next off-field adventure.
I can't see a GM willing to risk his career on that.
I guarantee our OL wants Zeke back more than anyone else. He makes them look as good as they make him look.
I think some team would give a first for Zeke.
In the context I was replying he was.
Well that would be an awful plan by whoever thought of it. No one running back is going to replace Elliott and it would be foolish to try. And I don't think anyone would.
