i love that Zeke was a Cowboy. Just a flat out amazing pass protector. Had some years where he was a great runner too. One of the best for a couple years IMO. I would never have given him the contract when he held out and certainly not that $ amount and was pissed that we did and obviously the last few years he’s been grossly overpaid, BUT that’s Jerry and Stephens fault not his. His teammates loved him. He seemed to genuinely love the game and being a Cowboy. the local media loved him. I’m just going to stay happy he was here and not focus on the salary versus production ratio of the last couple of years. I’m also going to root for him next year and wish him the best. Cheers to you Zeke and thanks!!!

Once he took Stephen Jones to the wood shed, his contract took on a life of its own. We can all have our different opinions regarding this but we can all agree he was a tough SOB. Take a bow 21......good luck

It’s hard to move on from one of our better players, especially early on his career, but it is time to move on.

The ABSOLUTE smartest and best thing he could do is walk away and get fully healthy. Maybe just take a year off, get healthy and then re-evaluate. But to think he's gonna sign with anyone is just....not the best thing for him IMO. He's still south of 30 but he's at the age when most NFL backs are all but done. Take your money and go start a 2nd career man. He already has generational wealth. I just looked it up...his net worth is estimated at 25 million right now. Take a hike Zeke, literally and figuratively. You only live once, and you only get one body. Best of luck regardless.

I think he will get a go on a team. I suspect that when we heard rumour of him finding 'his value' at the combine.. it included him sounding out where other teams stood.

Might not be the case, but it sounds like he was open to a pay cut.. until he wasn't. That feels like a situation where someone has offered him interest and so he didn't feel he had to take a paycut. Don't know.. I guess we will find out soon enough but I think he has enough left that if he wants to pay another 3-4 years.. there is a team (s) that will be prepared to give him a run.

Zeke was one of my fav players, and the last few years I always hoped he'd turn it back on again.

Great team player, wish we could've won one with him.
He was no team player. Selfish drunken fool drunk in Cabo hogging Carries and going after personal milestones vs what’s best for the team.

It started off good but once he jumped into the kettle on TG, it was over for Jerry. He was head over heels. Basically ******** Jerry. The whole hold-out cabo stuff for a doofus drunkard RB? I still don't know why people are so head over heels for the guy. Had he turned it around and become the year one guy in year 3, I could think different. He just went downhill and became a fat-arse. Yep. Good riddens.

He was always trash. Ruined one season single handily by getting suspended 6 games. Was fat and drunk his middle years. Slow and horrid his back half.

Moore is only one in the nfl that would feature him.
Management forced Moore and MM to use Zeke to justify the idiotic contract they gave Zeke... we'll see if that is true with what Moore does with the Chargers I guess.

He earned everything off that rookie season. It's unbelievable to me.

If he didn’t okay hurt, Gus would r call him washed up. Look at his speed pre injury last year.

People have been calling him washed since halfway through the season after he signed his contract. It's a statistical decline over 3-4 years while Pollard has been killing it.
