Zeke's Mom: "He Needs To Run For 2,000 Yards."

I'm still peeved Zeke didn't get the ball to try and break one for end zone when we eventually settled for 3 points.

To lose to that piecemeal broken Packers team = embarrassing!

I'm with you on that one.

I doubt Zeke becomes Earl Campbell. Zeke is not our total offense. Campbell was Houston's total offense. Fournette with LSU is the college version of Campbell with Houston.

With Dak's development, Howard at TE, Dez on the edge and Beasley in the slot, Zeke won't be the main focus of our offense, though he will be a significant feature.

Lol Howard is not going to be in Dallas. 0 chance.

Thats right momma, keep that youngin hungry!

Emmitt could bruise...but he was a slippery little devil also...personally, l was a Dorsett lover...l was very seriously emotionally attached to those old Cowboy teams.

I was lucky enough to see Emmitt's entire career and was equally attached to the teams of The Triplets era. I only got to see the last few years of Tony Dorsett in Dallas and his one year in Denver. He went into the NFL 2 years before I was born.

Make no mistake. I was/am a big Smith fan also. Emmitt had a great Cowboy heart and will always be one of my favourite Cowboys. God l am old!!;).

i disagree
the team is a run first and often team
the o-line is top tier
Zeke is a good runner
Hes had a year to get used to the line and NFL (almost all backs do better year 2 and 3)
we will probably lose a back (Morris) using Zeke more
may figure out Zeke is a good 3rd down receiving back (use Dunbar less)

I dont think 1500 or more is an unrealistic goal
If you just started watching football, I could see thinking that.

If you have been watching football for a while, you would know it is extremely rare in NFL history to put up consecutive seasons like Zeke just had. Like EXTREMELY rare.

"If you watch football", from this guy.

That's funny to me.

O.k. but Elliott is a rare specimen also,,,, he's gonna play his game when given the chance.

(I should have pulled SUPER_KAZUYA's quote)

Agreed. The club should have pounded Elliott down their throat until the Packers stopped him. Simple. If the coach used that approach.... Cowboys win.

Still trolling for my attention, I see. Sitting there in your Matt Cassell jersey, the gmoney troll. What a joke.

What's funny is that I've been accused numerous times of being only about stats and only bringing stats to the discussion. You can always count on the gmoney troll to be sitting in the corner eating paste while the adults are talking.
:lmao2:

He doesn't need more carries. He needs to break longer runs. 40-60 yard runs.
