Posted for the very real possibility that the Cowboys could be featuring another 1st round RB next season.

The impact is undeniable.

This is how we have to win as long as we have this QB. Dominant run game but with a better defense than what we fielded in 2016.

Question for the smart people in the room: who was a better prospect coming out of college? Zeke or Jeanty?

Zeke ran through holes that Mazi Smith could average 4 YPC.

Show me all the highlights where he made something out of nothing. Its been since scrubbed from the internet but I used to post an article on here that showed outside of his rookie year, he was always way underperforming on things like expected yards above average, etc meaning in the illustrious words of Joseph Randle, Zeke was peak "leave meat on the bone" IIRC his yards before contact was like top of the league.

Dude was like the Antoine Walker of RBs imho. Wtih feed me and all that nonsense, my least liked player on those teams.

That said Risen I agree w/you on a strong running game, just think this dude walked into a special situation hell...Rico would have done around as well as imho. Demarco did more with less.

Marty ball. Maybe that's why they are thinking about hiring Marty's son.

So let's go draft a guy who played in the MAC and has a ton of mileage. Zeke was different Jeanty is not.

Yeah exactly. The worst the line got the worst Zeke got. Or the worse the run blocking got anyway.

I don't think college mileage means anything. If Jeanty fell to us i'd have no problem drafting him. But for a team that has holes and only replaces them with rookies....you might want to wait on drafting a running back since you can find a starter in the 2nd to 4th rounds. Instead of going RB in the 1st and having to settle for another position in the 2nd and 3rd.

Yeah that too. I have a feeling we are in that same place we were with Micah...it was Micah and Sewell and I guess Devonta but we didn't need a receiver. It would be nice to have 2 or 3 players there that can come right in and start and fit a hole. For that to happen we are gonna need a few QB's and linemen to go. But yeah that's a big part of it...honestly Jeanty going before us would be for the best.

Man 2016 was so fun...I foolishly though that was the sign of things to come.....then to see it wasted....time and time again due to mismanagement of the roster.....damn near breaks my heart.
