The Cowboys should have drafted Ramsey. The second round would have brought Derrick Henry.

So instead of Zeke and Jaylon Smith the Cowboys could have had Ramsey and Henry. Which combo would you choose?
Zeke was...okay. The Smith pick was boggling. Jerry getting one over on the rest of the league BOOM!

Jerry likely would have ran Henry into the ground too...if Henry would have let him like Zeke did.

Maybe and maybe not.
Yep, the fear is that in a year where Jerry's seeing such negativity surrounding the HC search and failed 2024 it's likely he makes that 'star' signing, over need.
Yes, we need a running game, as that's the only way Dak won't face a cover-two zonal defense every third down....but we've got to sort the lines first....maybe we do that with one of the decent FA LT's (I know that made me laugh as well).

I've only seen Jeanty run vs Penn State and he sucked going for 3.5 YPC and 2 fumbles. Zeke was a beast in college. It just didn't last long. Zeke was the kind of player who needed a coach kicking him in the butt to motivate. He was never dedicated to his profession. As Parcels used to label QB's, he came a "celebrity" running back.

I think they need to grab 2 backs in the draft while the getting is good. They have no chance without the outstanding runners.

Definitely, and I'm not opposed to Jeanty, just prefer a Linesman in RD1, maybe even trading back (and getting back a pick to maybe, double down later in the draft).
I'm also hoping for an OT in Free Agency.

Jeanty didn't suck.

Maybe a little difference between the OLs at Ohio State and Boise, too.
I'm sure........but i'm not a fan of taking a rb in round 1. We tried that to no avail with Zeke and this team isn't near as talented as the one Zeke walked into. I look at rb as one of the last pieces of the puzzle. This team isn't a rb away from competing. Not even close.

Yall think Jerry is gonna pass up the opportunity to draft Jeanty and have him wear 22 so he can be the #1 jersey seller and fill his pockets even more? Ha ya right.
