Zeke put up Jeanty level stats against Oregon and Alabama. He was insane.
He was 6'0" 227 and ran a 4.47... my guess is that Jeanty runs something in the 4.4s at 215. Just not in the same league as Zeke from a size-speed combo. And Zeke's tape was the gold standard for pass blocking as a RB. I'm not sure if there's been a college RB that mature in pass pro before Zeke or since.
Zeke was a freaking awesome prospect. Jalen Ramsey was an attractive option at #4 too, because he was one of the top 2 or 3 CB prospects of that entire decade, and his NFL career has proven that evaluation totally correct. Ronnie Stanley was another all-decade kind of LT prospect, and he too has played like it. But Zeke was that caliber of RB too.
Him and Saquon were probably the best RB prospects of the 2010s. Fournette and Gurley absolutely had that kind of talent, but they both came with health concerns.
I think Jeanty measures up pretty closely to Bijan Robinson. Bijan was a hell of a RB prospect, but would you draft him over Ohio State Zeke?
