Defense has been horrible, but what is more disappointing is the offense. Look at the huge contracts we have at WR and QB and they do not produce.

At least when Romo was paid he'd put up points.

This is my point. The offense can’t even get in a shootout anymore. They turn the ball over in the redzone, and can’t score in it either.

I thought the D would regress from a numbers standpoint especially losing pass rushers. I figured they’d be ranked 15th or so in points given up per game but be much more sound against the run and be able to manage enough in defending the passing game.

Then the offense would put up its usual numbers. But the D has been horrendous and the O has been right behind it sadly.

If someone gives me a car without an engine or tires there are no adjustments I can make to drive it unless I get a new engine and tires.

The only thing I can think of is having the DLineman slant across and make a play and hope the LBs don’t get reached by an Olineman. He doesn’t have much to work with and adjust to.

The defense didn't get the help it truly needed in the off season and now with all the injuries, he's in a near impossible position. Maybe he's had enough already and is pushing to get fired, he only has a couple months left on his deal and getting that "Danny Glover Syndrome".......... "I'm too old for this..........."
