...no kidding. THis defense is NOT like last years. From just one game. These guys stay in their gaps and rage to the ball.

We have a fun defense this year. Zimmer might be that key puzzle to getting them over the hump.
Zim's players appear to be much more disciplined. Everyone seems to be doing what they're supposed to be doing.
You called it a fun defense, and it is, it was actually fun to watch this defense Sunday!

Im pretty sure it was before this forum, but I recall Cowboys fans not being a huge fan of his even when he was in charge of the D here and they finished #1 one year. They called it the bend but dont break defense.

I know I know it was the browns offense. But it’s nice to see a coordinator who prioritizes stopping the run. Who will adjust.

Quinn’s defenses were fine… but face a team that got the ball out quickly or could run the ball and we got gashed. He had no answers. In my opinion Micah made Quinn look better than he was.
We’ll see how everyone feels about Zimmer and this defense at the end of the season. We still got 16 games left. Everyone was in love with Dan Quinn when he first arrived. Let’s give it some time and see how consistent the defense is. Our defense looked like all world after the first two games last season, then came the AZ game. No way am I buying in this soon.

Go back to the games last year when teams ran it against us… or got the ball out quickly. 49ers…. Seahawks…. Bills. Jaguars the year before. Quinn had 0 answers when he couldnt pressure the qb. He wouldn’t adjust
Quinn blew a 25-point lead in the Superbowl. Why would we think he is so wonderful?
