Im saying Quinn never adjusted…. When teams go the ball out quick or could run the ball… he had no answer. We got gashed in those games and he couldn’t adjust. Mobile qbs seemed to kill is as well.

Not saying zimmer will be great but just having a guy that wants to stop the run and will adjust is a huge change.

Let's play prevent defense like Mr Quinn. Zimmer is agdressive and will bring the heat no matter what the score is. Glad Quinn is gone his D would get gashed in the playoffs due to not having a good game plan and not getting the players ready.

I'm sure Zimmer appreciates having linebackers to work with. And, by extension, we should too.

I know I know it was the browns offense. But it’s nice to see a coordinator who prioritizes stopping the run. Who will adjust.

Quinn’s defenses were fine… but face a team that got the ball out quickly or could run the ball and we got gashed. He had no answers. In my opinion Micah made Quinn look better than he was.
Zimmer is a tactician I just see micah running out of gas again or gtg hurt. We need to watch that. Spread the snaps out. Phillips more for Osa too. Get Lawson going we are going to need him.

I’d hold the anointing oil until they play a team that runs the ball. I just don’t see that much roster improvement in terms of size and physicality that would suggest they will be much better this year. I hope I’m wrong.

LB play was night and day from last year. Zim brought in Kendricks and he was massive today
Overshawn is what we hoped he would be
Liafu looked good and Clark was better than last year

The discipline is also obvious; another weak point last year

The DL was better; the middle seemed tougher

Overall the signs are very good

It was one game against the wack Browns offense without their best player (Chubb). It was a gimme game honestly.

Quinn may try to butch up with the backwards hat but his defenses are soft as butter when they get punched in the mouth. I always liked Zimmer more as a DC, but this wasn't his hardest test today. We'll see how it pans out but I liked the hustle and effort.

Early returns were impressive. 5 sacks, 17 QB hits, 50% pressure rate, 2 INTs, and an absolutely dominant first half.

Considering this is their first game, our road woes from last year, and Bland’s injury forcing some young guys into action— this was a very solid outing.

The garbage TD was a result of conditioning, fatigue, and the scoreboard, otherwise this would have been even more of a blowout.

Still— show me results in the playoffs. Regular season play is all about tuning up for when it’s all on the line— and thats when we crap the bed

Go back to the games last year when teams ran it against us… or got the ball out quickly. 49ers…. Seahawks…. Bills. Jaguars the year before. Quinn had 0 answers when he couldnt pressure the qb. He wouldn’t adjust
You left out the worst game, Green Bay. Quinn's defense was horrendous the entire game, no adjustments.
