We have our HC and the DC on 1 year deals. They will either show their love by playing 100 mph or they'll be out of the playoffs by week 10

The additions of Kneeland and Liufau - if Dallas is right about this draft - may be the final pieces Zimmer needed to deploy his popular blitz package. The idea is that he has pass-rush capable defenders at all three levels with the speed to threaten and win off the snap.

But, also capable of dropping into coverage from the formation quickly, confusing quarterbacks, throwing off their timing and keeping them guessing the next time they see the formation.

Zimmer is by far the best offseason acquisition and should pay great dividends.

Yeah the defense is use to being coddled by Quinn. Zimmers more tough which is exactly what’s needed.

Zimmer has plenty of his own flaws. You obviously aren’t familiar w his work in Minny

Quinn certainly did improve the defense. However, I’m not sold Zimmer will take the defense to a level that’s needed for the Cowboys to go deep in the playoffs.
