Zoners: Most of you will not like this...

PACMAN is a more talented CB then TNew

Remember, you read it here first and by the Thanksgiving day game EVERYONE will be in love with PACMAN's talents.

Still recovering from Germany, huh? Stop it, CC!! You need to hash...

:laugh2:

Not sure why people would think the Pacster is more athletic or talented than Newman.

Who here thinks that if Pac and Newman had come out in the same year, Pac would have been taken first? (Or, let's say, been considered by more teams as a better prospect.)

Now as a punt returner? Give Pacman the edge, though it still irritates me that Newman never really got a chance to do that here. :)

Some people are always going to love the outlaw, for some strange reason.

they complement each other well

avoid Newman, throw to Pacman, and pay

Which will work nicely into our favor. The knock with Newman not making plays was that he wasn't thrown to much and didn't have the opportunity to do so. With Pacman on the other side (after he takes the job from Henry) and starts to get interceptions, teams will want to avoid him and will be forced to throw Newman's way more, which should result in more turnover opportunities for Newman. With Newman, Pacman, and Henry on the field at the same time, seeing as how Henry also possesses great ball skills, there should be plenty of pick 6's this year.

Finally someone with some sense...! (well, you know what I mean, ie.me)..

Anyway, TNew does not have stats because QB's are smart! They know what will happen...

Pacman > Tnew. My oh, my...

;)

I'm still waiting for someone to explain how Jones is more of a playmaker as a cornerback. He might be a better cornerback, but Newman has been more adept at getting interceptions.

as an overall player he is between returns and interceptions. if he doesn't get suspended again and barring injury i bet he finishes his career with more interceptions, interceptions for a td, and more returns for a td.

On the football field and out of the topless establishments this guy has made more plays in his short amount of NFL time then TNew in his more then twice as many games........

What do you consider "making plays"?

Newman has 16 interceptions in 77 games. Jones has four in 30 games.

Well you could say that Pacman has a greater ratio of interceptions returned for touchdowns than Newman does (25% for Pacman, 6% for Newman) but I get your point.

;)

Pacman is more talented but is he worth the distraction? Can TO, Tank, Pacman co-exist? Long-term, I doubt it.

Those are game changing plays.

Speed Pacman (by a little)

Playmaking ability Pacman (by a little)

Overall talent Pacman (by a little)

Zoners I am not bad mouthing TNew.....just stating that the majority of scouts IMHO would agree that PACMan is more talented.....

They are both top 5 cbs in this league and our team/fans will be the beneficiary:bow: We are going to the Super Bowl

Like someone else has already stated, Adam Jones:p: and Terrance Newman will complement each other nicely.

This is such a silly conversation.

Only Cowboy fans could argue over who is the better CB between the many we have now. It's so stupid.

Newman is faster, is a better athlete and has been a better cornerback. Jones has better return skills and is younger.
