Parsons sends a 'call to action' to the team ahead of free agency

LOL, didn't think of this but now it makes perfect sense.

Jerry has no intentions of improving via FA but he can't have his star player squawking in the press about how cheap Jerry is. So Micah may have to go..............
Micah probably said something to Jerry directly and the trade idea came about.

Cant have players questioning Jerry and his families abilities to run the team, I mean the last 30 years of evidence of their success says enough no?

Pretty sure trade talk comes up on most if not all players. From all teams.
But only on here it becomes some type of issue and crisis.

Our GM and his dopey son will probably spend a bunch of money on the wrong players and then when it fails miserably, attribute the problem to free agency and not their incompetence or the fact that they have no clue how to build a team because they have no vision nor idea of what the team should look like and have no clue who are actually the best outside free agent fits and then they'll take another 10 years off from signing anyone

Brandon Carr was the last FA signing. He played every game and they think he was a failure. No FA ever again.

They draft Mo Claiborne who busts and what do they do? Never trade up again....

I am always impressed with your naivety about the Jones.

Our owner traded away a WR because Jerry thought he wasn't loyal enough. To think they wouldn't trade Parsons because they don't like him basically criticizing their FA strategy would be naive.

I don't think Parsons approved of last years approach to FA at all. I'm sure this will get Jerry's attention.

Micah please SIGN a team friendly contract so that Dallas will have more cap money to go after the top free agents.

Player: "We need to be agressive in FA!"
FO: "We are saving it to pay you!"
Player: "We have the pieces we need we just need to practice harder"

its like ive read this book before....

Not naive about anything.

Everyone comes up with hypothetical trades regarding the Cowboys. However, our front office is to lazy to look into trading. That actually takes a lot of work, to get value out of a trade.

They do. They use void contracts. It’s a nice credit card to use.

But there is a big payment at the end.
Players are going to be leaving starting this off season. And they’ll trade away certain players for day three draft capital and reload best they can. The bill comes due, yes, as it did for the Rams. The challenge is to rebuild without bottoming out. The frustration here is that at least they try to build a competitive roster. Rams, 49ers, Eagles are all facing unloading high dollar talent. That’s how the league works. No fanbase cheers for fiscal prudence.

The difference is Micah brings Jerry a lot of money and attention. Jerry feels smart for drafting him, and I don't think he'd want to look like he's admitting that he made a mistake...not that I think drafting Micah was a mistake.

Claiborne never should of been drafted in the top 10. That's reserved for 4.3 shut down CBs.

Jerry feels smart because Micah fell to him? Everything good that happens to Jerry is luck.
