All I can go on is what I can see from experience... I have zero insight into how good Lunda Wells is as a TE coach. I have no cameras. I have no microphones. That is, except for the ones that DC.com uses, and that's both limited and filtered.

I really have no insight into any new coach other than Ken Dorsey whose piece of work (Parcells-ism) has been on open display at times... but again, even that for Dorsey is severely limited to coaches' box observation.

So, this is kind-of a soapbox issue for me... fans presuming themselves to have insight that no one with any intelligence at all would ever assign to them. Can't know what you can't know.

Im actually impressed, now will the FO give them what they need to implement what they want to do..again thats is and has been the problem for decades.
Yup. Funny how Quinn's D was suddenly good w/ Washington w/ some A players at DT.

Given what he had to work with and WHO he works under, I'll give it a B for now. It's like those tests where it's impossible to get a perfect grade because it's full of errors anyway. That's what working under Jerry is like.

A because as any long time fan should know by now.

the path, power, purse and purpose goes through JJ the HC, JJ the GM, and JJ the owner.

THe mere fact Schott got say in this, i love it. I like Eberflus as a DC more than an HC.

They went out and got his staff, JJ did screw Schott on time, now we have to see how the Draft and FA goes. JJ still has a lot of say, we could be dead in April BUT that doesnt tell us about the staff.

You know what i do see about this staff, its not all there, but from the top 3 and the OL guy (who is most important) Fundamentals and foundations. I hope Schott starts from the bottom and works up.

Great progess on JJ too, i will say that. he opened the staff up for Schott. lets see what April brings us.

So far, a good reason to look at the season.

I'd say a C. Not enamored with the head coach, and I think he made a mistake not bringing in a veteran former head coach to be on his staff as an aide. Eberflus does not qualify in that way because of how poor he was with game management. The coordinators are good, and the position coaches show some promise, but I can't go higher because of the head man and the lack of a sounding board.

I gave it a C only because the actual appropriate grade IMO should be an “Incomplete”. How can you grade a coaching staff before a single game is played?

The Brian Schottenheimer staff is now complete for his first season in Dallas. What is your grade?

Grade should not include Schotty. Just talking positional coaches only. Here is the list:

I actually like this staff a lot.

BS definitely went and got some good names. Let’s see if the front office will bother to deliver the players necessary to win.

B: Considering we haven't seen one practice yet, love the attempts to get better and not have this buddy system atmosphere of hiring coaches just because you worked with them elsewhere! Get new ideas, plans, and thoughts in here!!
This feels like a more diverse staff than we're used to seeing with new coaches as far as where they're coming from.

Is Shottenheimer is doing the hiring/getting guys he wants himself versus being forced to go w/ the guys Jerry picks for him?

that's how it feels. but still feel Jerry's ego could screw things up
