This feels like a more diverse staff than we're used to seeing with new coaches as far as where they're coming from.

Is Shottenheimer is doing the hiring/getting guys he wants himself versus being forced to go w/ the guys Jerry picks for him?

that's how it feels. but still feel Jerry's ego could screw things up
They certainly are younger and in better shape.

The Brian Schottenheimer staff is now complete for his first season in Dallas. What is your grade?

Grade should not include Schotty. Just talking positional coaches only. Here is the list:

What difference does it make? We still have GM Jethro making the important decisions and he believes hi so the smartest guy in the room.

Im actually impressed, now will the FO give them what they need to implement what they want to do..again thats is and has been the problem for decades.
Exactly, it won't make a difference if they don't get the horses in free agency! This is a good staff, so I'm hoping this is the beginning of a different mindset when it comes to free agency. If no moves day one or two, we will have our answer!

D

HC is weak and unproven.

DC is not exciting.

ST coach is downright scary based on his track record of being a bad ST coach.

I like the OL coach and OC.
Even though I don't like the hire, there's not a whole lot of track record there. He was ST coordinator for only one year, and it was in Jacksonville during the Urban Meyer debacle. At least here, he gets started with one of the top returners in the game and one of the top kickers, we'll see if he can avoid ruining that.

I give them zero credit without being seen how they work together. I need to see them in action. I'll grade them after training camp. Until then it's an "I" for incomplete.

On paper I feel like they deserve a B but they haven't been around Jerry long enough so who knows lol

C - neither good or bad at this point. I don’t know how it can be graded until maybe mid-point of the season.

Interesting of the number of college coaches on this Schotty staff, and number of unheralded, less familiar named NFL coaches, both sides of the ball.

Hope the plan works out for us ...

..I gave a B. Benefit of the doubt. New coaches, new faces.

Its new Cowboys football for 25'.

Lets get #6

Needs to be an incomplete voting option. I know little to nothing about the majority of these guys.

Am I in the minority here? Seeing the vast majority of these guys sign on to BS’s staff didn’t move the needle one way or another for me.

I gave the new hires a B , lots of coaching experience from solid situations for the most part .

I did find it interesting coming off 7-10 and not getting anything out of the TE position the Cowboys Re hired Lunda Wells ? Ferguson in particular needs to step up his game or he should be a one contract Cowboy ,

If what’s is name stop using “Here we go…!!!” pre-snap cadence he’s already ahead of the game.
But with my luck he’ll replace it “Lets Gooooo!!!!”
