"Here" in reference to this thread. Did you read anything in the original post?

Clearly not. More barging in with your perceived slight that never happened so you could find something else to make trouble about.

Like I said, it's you.

It’s obvious the argument we had a few days ago has changed your opinion of Keenum some. You weren’t touting him as our backup a few days ago.

So I said no and you still can't read no?

And as expected a no-class like you doesn't have the class to admit when they're shown to have been flat-out wrong.

Take your classless agenda and foul up someone else's thread.

But thanks for showing me and everyone else that you have no class and can't even admit when you're clearly wrong.

Pure trash.

If you thought no then why were you making excuses for why Keenum hasn’t had success and were putting down Dak? Do you support Dak as our QB yes or no?

You don’t even know what the discussion was about. Do you have any idea what me and him are talking about? lol

Is is about getting an Impossible Whopper? If that's the question the answer is NO. I ordered one yesterday. Took it back to work and gave it to a nurse.

Before I get into the meat of this thread, let me preface by saying that it was not created to try to stir up the vigorous debate and arguments from the initial thread that featured the name Case Keenum. But in looking over the guy's career and body of work, I continue to find him an intriguing option to put into the mix for this team.

I'm not saying 'he's better than Dak', so nobody get the wrong impression or your panties in a bunch!

The more you’ve looked at it the more your opinion has started to change. You weren’t singing the same exact tune you are now in the Case Keenum thread that was started several days ago.

Clearly, as my first post on the topic of the thread makes clear:

I actually like the idea of signing Keenum to this team.

Not to buy into the nonsense that he's "better than Dak" but simply to have an experienced quarterback on the roster, no matter what else happens. It's smart and good business for several reasons, injury being one of them.

I don't think anyone would argue that Keenum is a better option for this team than Cooper Rush. And given that Keenum played for $3.5 million for Washington last year, I think he could be had for that much or less.

Any other lies you want exposed so that you can show just how low of a human being you can be? I'm sure you again won't have the class to apologize for being totally wrong here either, right?

That was 15 pages into that thread. Your opinion was starting to change. Prior to that when I kept asking you if Keenum would be a better option at QB than Dak you refused to answer. Once I started posting all the career numbers on Keenum including his career W/L record it started having an affect on you. lol Read some of your posts earlier in the thread. Every criticism I had of Keenum you took exception to it. You made excuses for him, trying to make him out to be a better QB than he is. You certainly weren’t doing the same thing with Dak.

I don't think Rush has gotten a in season opportunity to show what he can really do as a starter in this league. So he is a unknown entity in that regards. Having said that I would be ecstatic if Case Keenum would sign here as a backup qb. I like his known abilities in playing in this league and think he would be able to more than drive the bus if his services were needed. Go get him Jerry!

IT's what I keep wanting to say every time someone hates on Rush. Like....you haven;t even seen him with a first team...let alone time enough to assess. I've seen enough that I'd like to give him a shot at more. I think he might have some of the same stuff Tannehill, Keenum and Dalton have been able to develop through playing time. EVeryone keep mentioning those guys when we MIGHT already have one on the roster.

For guys hating on Rush...show me what you mean. A video or something. Convince me. NOT just gonna go on your say so.

I wanted to try it. To get one burger I went in at 10:26. They handed me a whopper in a sack at 10:57. And I was the only customer in the place. In fact it wasn't until I told them to cancel my order they got busy.

A hug from a cute, friendly, curvy nurse is better than food any day!

Well I'd advise you to:
  1. Never go back to that same dump
  2. Buy two next time and have the burger and the hug!
But try one and see what you think.

The very first post I made in that Case Keenum mega thread that was started a few days ago was by saying that Keenum would be an upgrade at backup but anyone who thinks he would be an upgrade over Dak must be smoking something. You and one other poster took exception to that comment. You started making excuses for why Keenum hadn’t had success by blaming the teams he played for. You talked about his 2017 season in Minnesota and how he outplayed Dak. You kept talking Keenum up and kept dogging Dak. I started changing your opinion of Keenum in that thread by posting his career stats and career W/L record. You vanished from the debate we were having. The more you’ve looked at it the more your opinion of Keenum has changed. For a third time do you support Dak as our starting QB yes or no?

This will be my final response to you.

You're a person with no dignity, honor or class.

You've done nothing here but to make up one thing after another. And to ignore anything and everything someone says or does that doesn't suit your agenda. You've been exposed as a liar time and time again and still don't have the decency to be a man and admit when you're clearly wrong. You turned this thread - to this point - into exactly the aimless, pointless argument of a thread that the other had become. Something I had hoped to avoid by clarifying my position in the initial post. Bringing your negativity and agenda here as well. But I'm hopeful that when you no longer receive any responses, the thread can go back to being what it was actually intended to be.

I invite anyone reading this or the other thread to see exactly how you've behaved in both, and exactly who and what you are and what you bring to this forum. If you had the sense, you'd be ashamed of how you've behaved, but based on your record, I don't expect it.

But I've done my job to expose your worthlessness, lack of class, lack of humility, and lack of any accountability whatsoever, for myself and anyone else who wasn't already aware. And I hope that from this point forward, both you and your posts are judged accordingly. They certainly will be by me.

And he proved that on a good team, he can win, and get you to an NFC Championship Game, if the pieces are there around him.

He proved on a good team that had the number one defense and number one scoring defense that he could manage games and drive a bus. Minnesota was winning games with their defense in 2017, which is why the Vikings allowed him to walk and they signed Cousins to a fully guaranteed $84 million contract. You don’t pay a QB that kind of money if you think the QB you had was the answer. Keenum lasted only one season in Minnesota, Denver and Washington if they move on from him.

I’d take any of those three over Rush, but 2 big obstacles...
1)Money
2)Ego
Would any of the three accept less money? A backup role?

Tannehill absolutely not after his 2019 season. I expect the Titans will tag him if they can't re-sign him as their starter first. With Dalton, there's a trade involved. That means draft pick and that means taking on his big salary contract. Keenum certainly would. The guy's been a third and fourth stringer in his career, it's not like he could or would stick his nose up at an offer. And he's a Texas guy so location is advantageous as well.

You don’t like me and are angry I get it! All anyone has to do is click on the link to that Keenum thread you posted and they’ll see why. I didn’t do you wrong you did yourself wrong! However, it appears I was able to talk some sense into you. It’s clear you still believe Keenum could be a viable starting QB and if Dak were to move on the Cowboys could have success with him. Keenum proved on a real good team that has a terrific defense that he could drive a bus and manage games. Trent Dilfer and Brad Johnson proved the same thing. We don’t have a team with a great defense. Our QB wasn’t allowed to manage games last season, he had to carry us in some games. The Cowboys need solid QB play to win games with a productive QB who can use his legs and arm to move the sticks and score TDs. We’re not going to have success with a journeyman QB who has a 6-17 W/L record the past 2 seasons. Common sense will tell you that.

I'm not saying 'he's better than Dak', so nobody get the wrong impression or your panties in a bunch!

What I am saying, is that hes easily better than Cooper Rush, and somewhere in between Dak level and Rush level.

And what does interest me is in signing Keenum, for two reasons:
  1. To give this team a better backup quarterback, someone who has and can win games if needed. Rush has never shown that ability.
  2. To give this team some measure of fallback option if things did take a bad turn in Dak negotiations. If Dak were to hold out, or somehow force a trade, the cupboard for the Cowboys isn't completely bare.
Based on Keenum's 2019 salary and standing, I think the guy could be had on a multi-year deal in the $4 - $5 million range, at most.

And he proved that on a good team, he can win, and get you to an NFC Championship Game, if the pieces are there around him.

And again, before anyone gets it twisted, nobody is saying the guy is a world beater. But take some time yourself and take a look at his career, college and pros. I think he makes more a decent, highly-affordable option.

Thoughts?

(Here's to hoping I haven't reopened Pandora's box!)
As depth/security behind Dak, if he could be had for $4-5 million per year I would be enthusiastically for this.
