I’m not on the Giants forum. Are they any fun?

Come talk to me about schemes and coaches at about mid-season next season. We’ll see at that point which if us is an actual Cowboys fan and which is you, Hennessey.

Assuming you haven’t gotten yourself banned and are instead hanging out in my PMs like you like to do, telling me how unfair everyone is to you when you can’t follow the simplest of the site rules.
Bruh get my name right. It's Hennessy. I'm only in your DMs wondering why you keep sending me nudes showering yourself in hennessy. I'm like yo that 5th is $40 you really gonna waste it like that? Unfortunately this site doesn't allow you to block mods.

I mean yes hindsight is 20/20 and I am sure every team could look back and wish they had drafted a different player at one point with multiple of their picks in multiple drafts, but at the end of the day you make a pick and hope its right.

Yes, it's easy to be critical when the pick fails. The year we selected Emmitt Smith, Jimmy wanted James Francis. The year we took DeMarcus Ware, Bill wanted Marcus Spears with that pick (and ended up getting them both).

Dallas went with the wrong choice in selecting Charlton. They took him around where he was considered to be rated and he just didn't work out. It will happen again sometime even if McCarthy wants to fit the scheme to good players instead of the other way around.

This isn't an area that I am concerned about McCarthy improving. I just want him to improve the coaching that has come up short for us.

Of course if everyone here could have been in charge of the draft there would be all pro players at every position. The entire point of hindsight being 20/20 is that people overestimate how often they predicted something right and underestimate how often their predictions were wrong and they were probably wrong a lot more than people give credit for.

Screw you Marinelli. You cost us twice in recent years.............. Charlton over Watt and then pushing for Hill last year.

The damage Marinelli did is breathtaking.

It is. And yet he gets to walk away smelling like a rose and taking a better coach's job with the Raiders while the Cowboys now try to pick up the pieces of the catastrophe he left behind.

Or the reverse is in fact true. That 'know-nothing fans' as the homers like to call them, are often times more often right than those who get paid to do it.

But that fact hurts the fragile sensibilities of some people.

In fairness, Marinelli's took a job a rung down the ladder from where he was in Dallas. Its funny how just about everybody not returning to Dallas from Garrets staff either took a step down the coaching ladder or is currently unemployed.

He took that step down two years ago, this team and staff was too much into feelings and what things look like to acknowledge the fact. Another part of the problem around here and something else I'm so glad is GONE.

Marinelli was this team's defensive line coach for the past two years and coordinator in name only, not role.

If you have a lame philosophy you pass on a real football player and pick a player that fits your scheme, but can’t play!!!!!

TJ Watt should have been a no brainer over Taco. TJ Watt’s brother was JJ Watt ,3 time Defensive Player of the Year. TJ has a lot of the same qualities as his brother. This was a major screw up!!! We needed a pass rusher. He was RIGHT there for the taking and we pick a scheme fit, who can’t play.
