Man. 100 mill. I'm taking this article to my boss and demanding to make what he's making.

Our players are no different that others. Cooper got a big deal still less than Julio Jones. I do agree these guys get paid a lot of money, maybe more than they should but it is not exclusive to Dallas. Cowboys could go cheap and just let talent leave.

Matt, I get it. Honestly I wasn’t impressed with him
At the end of last season. He disappeared. I can see how people are skeptical. I’m not sure if it was injuries he was playing through or scheme or what. So $20 mil and the guarantee is a lot. But he was also the best player we had on the field for half the season. There were games that without him we were sunk.

Then there is this

All I’m saying is yesterday a large amount of people were saying our FO was going to let all our talent go. The FO threw money at a guy and fans are peeved. There comes a point where you have to take a chance on the known vs a new kid etc. We will see how it works

Garbage yards and him having big games then disappearing. It wasn’t injury, he has been doing this since Oakland. Heck, he even did it in 2018.

He is now being paid like a tier 1 WR, when he’s not.

Sure you would. How do you expect anyone to believe you when you've consistently crapped on everything and anything the Cowboys do?

Reminds me of the guy in the off-topic forum that consistently craps on everything and anything the US government does lately.

Cooper is a dynamic player. I do not mind seeing him line up for us. We need a huge defensive signing...

I think we need two or three defensive signings and impact not 3rd stringers

I know. I'm kidding. I know there's no way my work could pay me that much.

For those crying about his deal, word is he's making under 10mil this yr. Which could mean another perfectly structured deal that will allow the team to restructure probably in yr 3 to lower the cap hits and add a couple more yrs. The team keeps clowning you crybabies

Believe me I wish I could play the FA game but afraid that would just say Bye. lol

I could upgrade my pay by going to another company (and am looking into it), but any pay upgrade won't be anywhere near 100 mil. LOL. That much would be nice, but I sure as heck can't do what Amari Cooper does.

Lol the results speak for themselves, genius. When was the last time we won a Super Bowl? Consistently bad decisions leads to being a loser

I’m right, you’re a homer

Word is that, but he is somehow getting $60 million guaranteed still. So, at some point, he’s going to hit our cap hard.

You're not even close to being right. They've made many good decisions of late as well as many bad decisions (Garrett) which have held the team back.

Update: Nice little twist

I won't ever understand why we didn't sign him to an extension shortly after trading for him. You gave a first so everyone knew we were going to pay him no matter what. Why not get it done right away. Cost us an additional $4 million a year IMO

But in Dallas it was very much injuries. I'm not justifying the extension, but he was clearly battling multiple lower body injuries.

LOL explain to me why those injuries only popped up on the road. Went from crap against the Eagles to good against the Commanders.

Did the same thing with the Raiders...

LOL all these wonderful decisions that result in no Super Bowl victories in 20+ years.

Explain that one, Einstein.
