WR? Really?

Any first round pick that’s an offensive player is a failure.

Our offense was good last year and will be better in 2020z

Pur defense and special teams are what kept up outbid the playoffs. Both units sucked

wr wasn't a weak spot, um look at who didnt step up and who did, wont say his name but he want 35mil LOL

same player same results..:) we do NOT need a forst round wr in this wr deep draft..sorry the defense needs the higher picks if good wr falls into our spot in the 2nd Maybe...

It is about value.

Forcing a Grant Delpit pick is not going to make this team better if there is a stud WR there.

keep pasting and copying the same stuff wont change my mind lol

they arent taking a wr in the first round.. if AC didnt resign, id say thats a plan but he did and gallup got better and sorry it nearly had 3 1k WRS and adding another cheap FA and a 2nd or 3rd round draft pick will suffice..

This is true but factor in a few things......

1) What if the only player there is a reach? Delpit at 17 is a reach. If you draft a guy at 17 that's going to be available late in the 1st or early 2nd...that's a fail.
2). This offense struggled at times last year. In the defense of drafting a receiver....it gives you another option if Cooper or Gallup is off for a game. This is the NFL. These guys will have off games. You don't hurt yourself by having another option.
3) It may be a bit early but you might have to think about life after Gallup and maybe even Cooper. This rookie will be here for 5 years. Cooper's deal is up in 4 and Gallup I believe is up in 2 or 3 if I'm not mistaken.

Receiver isn't the worst pick. But you go receiver in the 1st....that 2nd round pick HAS to be a starter on defense and even that 3rd rounder. You can't go into this season or leave it with just having one starter out of this draft and that's a 3rd receiver.

Not in the race one or way or another. But that game we only had Austin and Wilson. Cobb was out, Coop went out after 1 catch and Gallup was hurt.

They literally didn’t show lol

Well I'll say this....I don't know their plan at DE but whatever it is this draft won't change it. Unless they get Chase Young.....there's not a DE that's gonna make a immediate impact.I believe this team is looking to draft someone who can come right in and contribute.
I think the recent signings of the 2 DL has told us that DL is not on the draft list high up.

WR could be there due to the number of good choices at 17. And other teams might want to move up to get one.

We could use more picks. Leaking interest we might take a WR might shake the tree.

I think DB corner is our Target, either at 17 or where ever we might move back to.

Just a thought.

I would trade back before I would draft a WR. I just can’t justify going into the season without adding someone that was going to absolutely start for me on defense.

min not a fan of taking for positional need, but unit need? Maybe. If no defensive player is worth a damn at 17, then I talk to the Patriots. Maybe they move up a few spots to get one of the 4-5th best QB’s

what I wouldn’t want to do is is draft a third wide receiver unless I’m guaranteed a generational type guy and there isn’t an offensive player in the entire draft class that fits that bill

(I think only Chase Young and Isaiah Simmons fit that description)

I don’t like Delpit. Trade down or I’d consider Fulton at CB

no offense. Don’t do it

This is a really deep WR class. We can find a third WR in the third round who can start for us, especially if we’re looking at the slot.

people want to just add offensive skill players one after the other. They can make a differenc, but WR rarely do in their first year.

we need high quality starters at three defensive positions and we need to fit them in the draft. Two at a minimum.

If Kinlaw or Henderson are gone and they are intent on a DB, then move back, if not going with one of the receivers.

If you think a third wide receiver is what would have won those games, then more power to ya.
