If Cowboys get Dak signed low enough maybe Bengals would do some trading?

It's not anti-Dak.
It's pro-Cowboys.
This would be a great deal for the Cowboys.
Well Hell, if it’s just a matter of what’s a good deal for the Cowboys, reality be damned, we can do better than that. Let’s just trade Cooper Rush for Pat Mahomes.

Honestly his idea is horrifyingly idiotic with the cap attacking the Cowboys from the signing bonus that's on basically all contracts, if they do what he wants.

@Reality explains it quite eloquently earlier in this thread..

This is one of the dumbest Dak threads yet. Beyond stupid! There’s more realms of stupidity to this one than some of the others I’ve seen and that’s saying a lot.

What's so comical is these guys that bash Dak and say how terrible he is but than thinks he can be traded for the number 1 overall draft pick...... let that sink in
I suspect the OP may have been counting on everyone jumping on board with his idea as a way to prove that Dak isn’t really very good if people are so willing to trade him. Of course, there are a slew of flaws with his thought process if that is what he was thinking.

Jerry has time and effort in Dak. No way he trades that for a rookie who is not guaranteed to do or be anything. Like every rookie QB, Burrow could be the next Montana or the next BUST. That’s a fact!

I sure would be thrilled to see Joe Burrow lead the next generation of Cowboys under McCarthy.
Perhaps the Bengals would give up their number one pick if Dak was under contract for 4 or 5 years.
The Cowboys could get Burrow and under his rookie deal would save millions of dollars.
I just can't see why Jerry and Stephen wouldn't be trying to sell this package to the Bengals, unless they are absolutely not interested in Dak.
bengals would be absolutely stupid. why? they can get burrow for next 5 years at a reasonable price but then trade the #1 over all, which could be vote 5 picks if they decide to trade down, and instead get Dak who wants $35 a year?

That would be pretty dumb on the Bengals to do that trade. Why would they pay Dak when they can get Burrows cheaper with a better skill set? Makes no sense at all. If the Bengals would do it I would do it in a heartbeat but this ain’t Madden.
As we have seen on this board, some value Dak's ability more than others.
Personally, I think Dak is a backup quarterback at best.
But some seem to think he should be paid more than any other player In the NFL.
If Cincinnati shared in the latter mindset, the deal could be possibly made.
I believe that giving Dak a long-term extension worth over a hundred million dollars guaranteed will seal the fate of this franchise to continue in the mediocrity instilled by Garrett for years to come.

So........The Bengals are going to trade the first overall pick for a back-up QB AND pay him $32-35M? You're not making sense Lee (LOL).

I hear you bro. They are all about their anti-Dak agenda, even though they state they are only looking out for what's best for the Cowboys.

They are not fooling anyone.

Name 32 better NFL QBs ...

I can accept not thinking he is the best possible QB, but to think he isn’t even worthy of being one of the 32 starting NFL QBs blows any chance you might have to be taken seriously.

And nobody here thinks he should be the highest paid QB for any reason other than that’s just how the market for QBs is shaking out. But you prefer to suggest people are saying Dak is the best QB in the NFL instead. If you are going to attempt a point, at least try to understand what the people you oppose are saying.
