Will McClay and the Cowboy Front Office likes long, athletic CB's. Diggs fits their profile for the position. Although, still raw, Diggs has the upside to eventually become a high-end starter at the position. Not sure if he's worth the value at 17, but wouldn't hate the pick if they traded down a few spots.

In many ways he is less "raw" than Henderson.

Talented big men are hard to find, so the good ones always go early. Investing in 4 first round graded guys got us 4 studs, so I'm not seeing a problem with that.

And where are these good 3rd day guys you're looking at? I just checked the depth charts in our division for grins. The Eagles got Jason Kelce in the 6th round in 2011, but every other starter on their OL was a 3rd round pick or higher. The Giants have Will Hernandez as a top 40 pick, Zeitler as a high priced former 1st rounder, and a muppet at center. The Commanders have top 5 pick Brandon Scherff, a terrible 6th round guard, and an OK 6th round center.

The division as a whole has invested pretty decently in interior OL, and there's not a lot of Day 3 starters out there. Half the ones that are starting suck.

Patriots

I am only doing teams in the playoffs with multiple day 3 picks or later but I'll make an exception for this.

These are the playoff teams with multiple day 3 pick or beyond on their o-line. OC i the most common pick you can find late in the draft.

What I like about the O-line is with Smith, Martin, Frederick and Collins we invested big once and did it properly. You look at all the screwing around we'd done with the D-line with draft picks, free agency signings etc and we've got a lot less to show for it.

Taco, Lawrence, Hill, Gregory, Crawford, Collins, Tapper and countless free agents haven't exactly got us a stable roster. And it's not like we haven't invested, we just haven't hit with too many. I think we'd be so much better off if we used all our top picks on O-line and D-line with 3rd to 7th round on other positions.

I get the but how many times are we going to draft a 1st round o-linemen and neglect other positions of need where we keep throwing JAGS out there. We need to develop guys which they have guys next to them to help.

Both players in my opinion, need development. The gap between the two isn't that large. Henderson is rated higher due to his strong combine numbers. Some question Diggs speed and it didn't help him choosing not to run at the combine.

I think a trade back is a possibility from Dallas view point. I don't think there will be any demand for that pick to be honest
Jordan love could be the only real value because he is a qb and people see mahomes arm in him...

Correct. This is the most likely option. I'm going out on a small limb and I'll say love won't be available at 17. Which also helps someone else slide down to Dallas.

Would anyone be extatic if they nabbed diggs in a trade back scenario and Delpit was on the board at 51 or would u rather go a complete diffrent direction?
I would be very happy diggs the delpit and then hope a pray another CB falls to them in the 3rd hirts in the 4th and grab Reggie Robinson in the 5th woot hell of a draft if u ask me.
We nees to address this secondary before it gets outta hand.
Next uear the rest of this secondary gets to run free in freeagency.

Looks like Zach Baun had a diluted drug test at the combine

I'm good with Diggs IF we move back and get extra collateral

That's hilarious. I'm sure teams would rather he failed a drug test for weed rather than he put on extra weight by drinking water to make himself look bigger.
