Just for some comparisons, I did these for another debate on another forum

wilson is 31-26 54%
stafford is 8-59 12%
Cousins is 7-30 19%
Carr is 11-40 22%

Brees is 52-68 43%
Dak is 13-17 43%

Look! Dak has the same stats are Brees! We better run him out of town.. He sucks!

These are stats from a source not the poster! For as much negativity that Dak gets on this forum I think a stat like that is more than noteworthy.
Where you fail redball is when you say this poster deserves an incomplete because I don't believe there is any stat that shows the cowboys
had an abundantly more 3rd downs than other teams. This is simply accuracy percentage during 3rd down which simply shows that Dak excelled.
Remember this is a percentage of good passes during a key down. When you ask for Daks stats on 1st and 2nd that wasn't the metric and stat
that was researched, but I can tell you that he has very good stats all around the board.

So for those of you that say these awesome stats Dak put up are irrelevant that I would say so is y'all s proverbial eye test!

You gotta take Dak’s statistics with a grain of salt because he inflates a lot of his numbers against poor opponents..

I’m glad he has a good 3 & 5 completion % but he is what he is as a player and when you tell me we have to pay what he is as a player like he is the best in football is where this whole thing becomes putting Dak before the team and he is not what is best for our team at that price.

But at worst he will keep us mediocre like an Alex Smith would and with the extra playoff teams he will do enough to keep us relevant and people talking and that is all the Jones’s and most of our fans care about anymore.

Zeke is the one who needs to step up. Put in the work (somehow) to get back to top 5 pick form. Another 1700+ yard, 10+ TD season with 70+ catches would go a long way towards convincing those of us who never wanted him on the team.

There is nothing wrong with Dak when is making nothing.. When he is making 35 mill a year and trying to weasel a new deal in another 4 years to get top money is where I have a problem.

The problem with Dak is he is horrendous value for what he provides offensively. Being stuck with a facilitator QB and not a legit prolific passer sucks.

Drew Brees has been the captain of many losing Saint teams where his passes were incredibly inaccurate! Why? because his team overall sucked
and his confidence was shook. I agree stats don't tell the whole story, but it doesn't hurt that Dak's stand up to those among the best.

At the time I didn’t understand the impact of QB contracts and how much they effect the chances of your team winning a Super Bowl.

A lot of this forum didn’t learn from that experience either and don’t see it as a big deal.

Romo gets labeled a choker but he was a 1 man army unfortunately until about 2014 when they finally decided to take some pressure off of him.

He gets labeled as a choker by people like you but for some reason you prefer a lesser play like Dak who isn’t nearly as skilled or knowledgeable as a guy like Romo.

Jerry screed it all up when he hired Jason Garrett.. He screwed it all up paying a QB who had never won anything in Romo like he did to the point that it financially strapped what the team could do.. Now he will do the same by paying Dak and our only hope is the CBA saving us and McCarthy not being a total fraud and giving us some type of game day edge.

LOL...I'm against paying Dak top overall pay, but to say Dak is lesser than Romo even though Dak ended up 2 yards from breaking Romo's franchise single season passing record even though Dak was not allowed to pass the 4th quarter of that Week 17 Commanders game, even with a 3 score lead, tells anyone how Dak was held back from breaking your beloved #9's record on purpose to protect your beloved for fans like yourself. Had Dak been allowed to break Romo's franchise single season passing record, you would have nothing to fallaciously brag about Romo being a better passer. You know it. I know it. You talk about Dak like he is Russell Wilson or something.. Like he’s been to multiple Superbowls and got a victory..

He did nothing on his rookie contract in an optimal setting.. Things will never get easier then he had it... He wants the most money possible and that is awful news for our Super Bowl hopes but you don’t comprehend that.

Dak has not done anything special outside of 2016.
