This is the same dude that said Tavon Austin would be getting 20 touches a game. Don't pay attention to anything he says during the offseason. Part of his job is to talk up his coaches and personnel.
Web back lol. Stephen Jones is a loser that fell into the right bloodline.

I think you’re right. Seems to me chaisson is the first choice Baun would be second. Can Murray be that guy ?
I'm thinking something else as far as what they think of Murray....speaking of versatility, he can play all 3 spots...or all 4 I should say.

Its entirely possible the new staff has looked at #54 on film and isnt impressed w the ballerina acts, or the curious angles, or maybe just his act overall.

I dont know that his best position is MLB in a 43.

That Sam LB (#71) looks to big/stocky/heavy to be able to cover the TE or a RB who were to run into the flat on his side.

That is Kroy Bierman. When he was drafted he was 6'3" and weighed 240. He ran a 4.75 and his three-cone was 6.83.

In 2014, playing that spot he got 4.5 sacks. He probably was better suited to be a backup. One of the reasons why the Falcons probably struggled that year.

That 4.75 won't be able to keep up with a faster RB or TE.

Expect the league to delay as long as possible without litigation, or rather, the resolution deadline of the litigation!✊
Rules are rules. The commish only has 60 days to make his decision. Both players filed their requests in March so the decision must be made by mid-May.

My mouth can't keep up with the salivation contemplating the possibility of a DL group consisting of:

Lawrence
Smith
Gregory
Chaisson
Crawford
McCoy
Poe
Woods
Hill
Armstrong/Jackson

Yep -- the more the better. Whatever it takes to thwart the enemy! Some will stay, some may not. The cream always rises to the top! ;)

I don't think we're switching to the 3-4 defense. I think they're just talking about a pass rush specialist. If they are talking about a pass rush specialist then that's not a starting position.
Its much more advantageous in todays game, if you have the right type of players and coaching, to be able to flex.
Takes a lot of preparation, that's always the issue,, its about an expanded defensive play book, job assignment.
Being able to run a hybrid scheme I believe is the direction, the thought process of this current staff, just not sure it can be installed in one off season/training camp.

DE is not a need. It's a luxury at this moment. There are bigger holes to fill.

You keep saying that, yet 80% of the fan base and 100% of the draft experts don't agree. The experts also don't agree with your assessment of Chaisson.

AND...…..you completely misread the statement by Jones.

Just saying...……….you are off base on this one.

I have asked you this before and you don't answer...……………………...Who do you want to pick so badly that you become so focused that you cant think reasonably about other players?

My guess would be WR. Am I right?

Just wait and watch to see who will be right about who the Cowboys use their 1st round pick on. I'm pretty sure it won't be Chaisson or a DE.

It's like the front office just discovered that schemes are important a decade too late.

Perfect example of how Jerry isn't a football guy. Instead of understanding that, he simply hired Marinelli and trusted him to handle it.

Pass rushers that can get to the QB have and always will be a premium asset in this game unless the entire game changes, and its just about field goal kickers.
Seriously, has there ever been a draft where if there is a potential high end pass rusher available, especially at 17 that you don't covet that player?
How long did this team try and replace Haley,, we didn't get it right until Ware...
You don't have to take Chaisson if Ruggs or Kinlaw are still there,, but if both are gone and Chaisson is still there, it would be foolish to pass.

Again...……..I never said what they will do, I said what they should do. I am in no way claiming they are going to pick Chaisson. I cant predict what an idiot like Jerry will do.

And again...……..who do you hope they pick? Are you too scared to answer this question or something?

Exactly. And especially how uncertain our DE position is only an moron would pass on Chaisson at 17. The problem is that Jerry is a moron.

Here is the bigger question for you...

Where do you see holes on offense and/or defense that NEED to be addressed?

I don't think Jerry has had sole control for a few years now, and esp not now with MM on staff.
MM might have more authority than as fans we can even invision at this point, but I bet we have a more accurate realization after this draft,, we will soon find out.
