With not one single safety gone in rd 1 I think they will let the draft come to them. I’m not sold they go safety either. As much as we all want one. I think a d end, d tackle and corner get targeted before safety. If we start drafting based on needs that is. It’s possible they go with highest rated d player overall too. I can’t wait to find out.

I just can't fathom Dallas taking a safety over a super solid CD or Dline prospect.

Unless, of course, a repeat of Round 1 happens. Even then, safety is probably on par with LB at this point.

Dallas needs quality CBs and Dlineman pretty badly.

Hover around 51 and I'd bet a good CB or Dlineman will be within striking distance..if not falling into their lap.

Now that we got CeeDee (i'm still freakin hype!) we could go for the Grand slam in also getting McKinney

Imagine walking out with CeeDee Lamb and Xavier McKinney as our first two picks!?

Who is with me! Sometimes you got to make moves!!!
I'm guessing our next pick is currently on crutches and has his right arm in a cast.

That's how we draft in the 2nd rd.

Don't think lightning strikes twice.

It won't.

This draft could rapidly go downhill with some careless picks.

I really like Davidson On the DL.

But Big Mike, Nolan and Tomsula have a plan.

They could be content with our front. Tons of untapped potential in Jackson and Jelks. If Gregory and Smith can ball out, DL becomes a strength by adding McCoy and Poe

McKinney >>> Delpit

McKinney can play the slot, nickel LB, SS, deep half, or single high. The only position out of those that Delpit plays better at is single high.

We play in a conference where the main contenders all have strong rushing attacks (SF, MIN, GB, SEA, NO) and also play Saquon twice a year.

Preferring a matador at safety over a do-it-all safety and strong tackler like McKinney is puzzling to me.

I fell in love with Davidson when he said, and I'm paraphrasing of course: "What I love about football? You can maul a man and the police don't get involved."

Shut up and take my draft pick. Love it.

The problem is corners have already been hit hard..

I really wanted Gladney in round 2.

I disagree that McKinney is a strong tackler.. His tackling is overrated.

Please no. Too slow not a great athlete on the back end and not the best in coverage.
^^this^^ and hes more of a hitter than a cover guy. Give Me either Winfield or Burgess/or lets get a big nasty beast at dt like Gallimore. We can get a good corner in the next round like Lavert Hill from Michigan.

Thank you sir. Its not 80s football anymore. Guys that are just tacklers and hitters on the back end of a defense have no value in a passing league where you cant hit a guy coming over the middle

Are you basing this all of his combine or have you seen him play?

He plays just like Malcolm Jenkins.

If you think his tackling is overrated, Delpit's is non existent.

Delpit is probably a target if there after the first 10 picks on the 2nd.

They have to have him very high on their board right now.

At this point..he's just a dream..like CeeDee.

His play speed is slightly faster. I just don't like him at all. Very low upside. Just a guy to me. Id rather Delpit, Chinn or Dugger tbh

He can tackle pretty good though
