All I see is 3 years where he had 1k rushers.....didn't see you list he had AJ Green, Marvin Jones and Mohammed Sanu to throw to though lol. Or how they were ranked top 10 in defense when Mike Zimmer was there....but oh well.

I don't care if you say its a team game or a individual game. There is no argument out there to back up this Andy Dalton claim. He sucks in the post season. He's sucked in the post season. You guy just boosted him up talking about "HE LEAD" the Bengals to 5 straight playoff berths. Now you want to back peddle and say the team lost. You want to give him the individual success for the playoff berths but back out when it comes to his 57 QB rating.

You are making up stuff *I* never ever said. Ever.

Your very confused if you believe that. Go ahead and checkout his rushing game for those 1st 5 years. here i will do it for you. teams leading rusher

2011 Cedrick Benson..1067 yards 3.8 YPC
2012 BenJarvis Green Ellis 1084 yards 3.9 YPC
2013 BenJarvis Green Ellis 784 yards 3.4 YPC.
2014 Jeremy Hill 1124 yards 5.1 YPC....1st decent back and rushing game he had
2015 Jeremy Hill 794 yards 3.6 YPC

* they also had Giovanni Bernard tossing in some yards in a couple of those seasons but generally speaking he didn't add anymore than the 450 yards Pollard threw in as Zeke's backup this year

So tell me how do you think Dak does with any of these guys in his backfield instead of Zeke or tell me which one of these guys you would take over Zeke. They had decent recievers and a pretty good TE and a terrible O-Line not even close to the one we have, yet still went to the playoffs 5 straight years

If by “decent receivers” you mean AJ Green who was a top 3 receiver in the entire league. Then yes they had “decent receivers”.

The bengals runnin game was nothing special. But they had VERY GOOD receivers and by the way, they had better defenses than Dak Prescott has ever had.

The bengals defenses were very good the years they made the playoffs. Very good. Better than anything the cowboys have had in a while.

Well if your ceiling is 8 or 9 wins than yeah that says enough about what you think of Andy Dalton. No need to argue about that anymore.

That's fine. That's your opinion. I can't argue against opinions. I personally think the Cowboys have a better shot at winning games with a 26 year old Dak than they do Andy Dalton. I'm not going to argue facts because we know Dak is more accurate, more mobile, more durable, stronger...there is absolutely nothing that Dalton does better than Dak.

Well, he can sign a contract with the Dallas Cowboys as a QB so that is one thing that Dalton does better than Dak as of today.

Well let me talk you down a little.

We still have a bad QB, a declining OL, no starting TE, a hodge podge DL of aging vets and suspended players, a MASH unit LB corp and a secondary in transition under the guidance of two inexperienced coaches.

I'm stoked too.

Do you follow another team perhaps? Commanders? That is a bunch of nonsense

This move shows me not only is there a new Sheriff in town, they are planning to try to win it all this year.

Love it!

Jus sayin this FO doesnt have a problem paying certain players that meet a certain criteria
Every team doesn’t have a problem paying players that meet a certain criteria. It’s just a matter of what that criteria is for each team.

What part of he had decent receivers and a pretty good TE was confusing for you to understand in my post? and lol at the 1k rushers comment unless you want to tell us that Dak in his rookie season goes to the playoffs if Zeke rushes for 1087 yards and a 3.8 YPC average or we go 10-6 in 2018 and make the playoffs with Dak leading us if Zeke rushes for 1057 yards and 3.9 YPC. Zeke is and has been the reason this team has gotten to the playoffs Dak has really had nothing to do with it. Better yet does Dak get us to the playoffs or even an 8-8 record if his top RB has 784 yards for the season and a 3.4 YPC or 796 yards for a season and a 3.6 YPC?

Really? That's your claim? He can sign a contract better than Dak? Ok lol.

My claim is that this page has seen the Dak lovers flipping out about the Dalton signing in a manner like they are his mother protecting her 'baby'. Dak has decided not to sign a contract and Dallas has decided they need to improve the back-up QB position in case either Dak doesn;t sign or was to get hurt.

The Cowboys are not stopping their organization simply because Dak wants less years and more money. They are moving forward like they should as it is a team of players and not about just 1 player.

Actually my ceiling is much higher for Dalton i was just saying he can easily do what Dak has done with the team and for much less money

I meant you guys as in plural. Didn't say you specifically said it.
I realize that we're talking to everyone. But I think in some cases you should stick to the singular reply. Address what *I* said.

You are unfairly lumping me in with the....dak haters? club. You've never seen me say any such thing. Am I critical? Of course. Just like I am with my boy Zeke. DO you find me calling out hypocrites? Of course.

Here's Andy's 2019 highlights without AJ. He's a great addition to our team.

I like Dalton as a Backup. I honestly do. Smart signing.

I do think it’s important people don’t undersell the team he had the years he made the playoffs. He had one of the best defenses in the league helping him. Coaches by Marvin Lewis. A mediocre head coach. But a great defensive coach.

Dalton is an ok QB. But he isn’t as good as Dak. He just isnt.

I think you are over exaggerating. No one hear on either side of the fence looks at Dalton as a Dak replacement. I can't speak for anyone but I've said in this thread I'm glad they have him to go to if Dak gets hurt as opposed to Cooper Rush. I wouldn't have signed him but its a upgrade. Solid signing. The issue I'm having is the inaccuracies and lies being posted. Even the trolling isn't bothersome. You know that's going to come with the territory. Trolling.

I'm confused so what are you debating here? Are you debating Andy Dalton v Dak? I thought this was about whether or not Dalton sucks but somehow this has turned into what Dalton does and what Dak doesn't. I'm not interested in a Dak v Dalton argument. Its a joke. Especially with people who haven't even seen Dalton play lol. You can't talk to me about Dalton when he has a 0-4 post season record against the Texans, Chargers and Colts.

And that's all I'm saying. I guess it sounds better coming from you than me. Seems like people don't understand it when I say it.

Ya well we also had a top ten rated D last season that only gave up 20 points a game decent enough to have been better than 8-8 for the season, we were also ranked 6th in the league in 2018, 8th in 2017
