I have been reading all the Dak threads and it seems that he is such an average QB, not talented and some even say he is not worthy of starting in this league and that QBs like him are dime a dozen and can be found anywhere, any time....so Garrett had done an outstanding job, by winning to NFC east titles and going 1-2 in the playoffs, being handicapped at the most important position on the team for the past 4 years....he must have not realized he has hit fools gold in 2016......

I guess we should have kept Garrett, given what he accomplished with such an average to below average QB...

If Garrett only had Dalton he would have won the SB. Just ask the clown show about it.

What outstanding job did Garrett do? What did he accomplish again? I mean, it goes both ways. If Prescott is that good like some people say, who's fault is it then that we didn't win anything?

You betcha. After years of Dallas being stuck in the middle with Jason Garrett, McCarthy is the perfect remedy for what ails this team.

I was a Garrett supporter on many fronts mainly because I didn’t believe we had better options with Jerry but it was obviously time to go for Jason.

The atmosphere had become entirely too toxic for Garrett to have any success. He had been given ample time.

And the fact Jerry actually finally brought in another proven experienced HC. I think while being suspect if McCarthy can over come Jerry’s ways it definitely provides for a renewed hope . At least until we see the results come in.

Stop lying about your love for Garrett. You liked him because you said "Garrett is the shining light"

Do I need to pull up all your quotes showing Garrett with your love?

Putting words in my mouth, huh? I never said that. What I did say was that Dalton could be a solid backup plan if Dak decides to hold out for the 565 trillion a year he thinks he deserves. And why would I cry over Dak signing a contract? Its not money out of my bank account. If Jerry wants to cripple the franchise and set them back 10 years just to keep Dak happy thats his business.

Amazing how Dak is sloted to make 31 million this year. Is the franchise ruined? Is the salary cap "destroyed"?

And your suggestion to cut Dak, roll with Dalton and draft a QB in the first round...………….that WONT cripple the franchise?

He was my shining light for years in my darkest days under Jerry.

Obviously after all of these discussions you’ve never grasped my support of Garrett.

I know. But think about it. If Garrett would have been this good why did we still didn't win anything?
We haven’t won anything in a long time. Our days under Jerry have been darker now thru several head coaches.
