None of the players on the list have played in the NFC East all of the last 5 years except Eli, and he got benched for awhile a couple of years ago I think they were just looking at players In the NFC East that played within that time frame, not players who played in the NFC East every year during that time frame.

Lot of that going around in the NFC East. To be honest, it's been a really bad division for awhile now IMO. I remember when the NFC East was the CLASS of the entire league. For years and years, the East was the Beast.

All three Patriot losses in the Super Bowl during their impressive run........were to NFC east teams.

The records of NFC east teams may seem unimpressive due to them cannibalizing each other, but they can sneak up on teams late in December.

When I started this thread yesterday it was right before I left for work to shoot a long wedding... Today is the first time I logged in and I was shocked by all the discussion taking place! It's obvious that our boy Dak is a hot topic considering the banter!

Let me just say this, by posting the link to the article and saying all those flowery things about Dak wasn't at all trolling on my behalf in case anyone thinks that. Anyone who knows me or any of my post understands that I actually love prescott, he is one of my favorite players to wear the Cowboys uniform!

I know there is great debate on the merits of Dak as a legit starting QB for our Dallas Cowboys, but honestly I don't really care because he is my favorite player. I understand many think he isn't good enough to warrant a big pay day and that is fine, and if he shows me he can't win and keep getting better than I may be inclined to agree, but the fact of the matter is the guy is on a historic pace and you couldn't ask for a better leader on and off the field! so unless he slips and becomes the BUS driver that guys like @PAPPYDOG claim he is I will continue to cheer the man on and hope for great things.

I knew Dak was incredibly valuable and an overall amazing player, so it's good to see more evidence backing this up! Of course Dak isn't considered Elite, but if he lights it up this season and does some damage in the playoffs I believe he will erase all doubts.

Look away if you're looking for stats that suggest Dak shouldn't be paid top dollar...

You did see the ESPN mock draft right with all current players? They had Dak going in the first round pretty high.. This should give you an idea of the respect he is getting for what he has shows on the field as a player and a man.. Don't forget he had to overcome the freckled puppet's incompetence and our highly sporadic defense.

Dak is a good quarterback and deserves praise, but this MVP of the NFC East thing doesn't hold as much value as say it would've back in 1992. To me this is one of the worse divisions in all of Football right now. The other thing is I think some people try too hard to make Dak look good to others, finding any little thing, and attempting to use it as evidence. Then they go on questioning how others can't see what they are seeing, saying that they must be blind -- a sort of intolerance for different view points for those who don't think Dak is great. I don't think Dak needs fan boys to prop him up; he just needs to prove it come playoffs time.
