How much is Dak worth?

Dak’s value continues to go up with each passing year, which makes Jerry’s failure to sign him immediately after the 2018 season a glaring blunder.
It truly was. But to let the Eagles sign Wentz before him was just moronic. That's the one that really hurts.

That's the problem. JJ is the only owner willing to pay Dak crazy money.

He's the only owner that Dak has had, so I guess we'll see what develops. Dallas got by paying Dak peanuts on his rookie deal, so there was surely room to improve. Of course, how much more is another situation entirely! We'll likely find out before too long. Seems pretty steep to me, too. o_O

Enjoy....or don't.....the rest I leave to you.

First I've peeked at this. No need to even scroll down to see the responses. Can already predict the so called professional film watcher experts here contradict this presentation. Extreme emphasis on so called or maybe self made is more appropriate.

Warner has pointed out a lot of this and more technical flaws as has Aikman in the past. CZ mbrs then choose to twist the narrative of those 2 HOFers' criticism as well.

They try and manipulate the Warner/Aikman QB code of political correctness as some sort of ringing endorsement when they choose to add in positive comments so as not to totally put Dak on blast and "ONLY" constructively criticize him.

Most of the film on Prescott, as this also showed, was that in the biggest moments when a play had to be made, he consistently comes up short. A claim LeeBlair made that I agreed with as being a big component of leadership. I could care less LeeBlairs rep, cred or popularity on here.

Wasn't it Irvin or someone else who said "Big Players make Big Plays in Big Games"?

Dak plays poorly against good teams and above average defenses. PERIOD.

That film and it's narrator did an accurate job of matching my opinion of Prescotts ability and I agree with him.

Looks like he’ll get another chance to prove himself but back to the question. As much as The Jonses want to pay him. Wait, a long term contract didn’t happen so franchise tag it is. So reality says, not as much as he thinks he is worth.

Like most other things, Dak's worth what someone will pay him - be that Jerry or whoever.

To me a $100,000 Corvette is worth the money, others will say it's not because it's only a 2 seater, or " there's nowhere you can drive it as fast as it will go anyway", etc.

But there's a line out the door to get one, so it's "worth" the price.

And as far as Dak "won't ever get us to the Super Bowl", that's an unknown, the future is ahead of us.

If he does get us there, all the naysayers will either slink away quietly or say "it was the team that won", etc.

To each his own opinion, I don't have to agree with them...

So, Aikman doesn't care for Dak ….

I love Dak Prescott,'' Aikman told me. "I love everything about him. …

Lol. It’s posts like this that hurt the Dak haters movement.
Not a Dak hater at all, I just looked at the other side of the numbers. Only a Dak lover would think Dak is worth your number. the truth is somewhere between the two. Anyone who would take Dak over Cam for the $$$$ amounts is not being honest with themselves, going to be funny watching Cam playing deep in the playoffs while Dak is on the couch again and you are making excuses on how it is everyone else's fault.

How about a little south of $7.5 say $6.5, factor in no MVP, no championship game and no SB appearance.
This post is so nonsensical I feel goofy even responding to it.

Neither Wentz nor Cousins have an MVP, or got their team to a championship game or made a Super Bowl appearance, and they both signed new deals that pay over $32 million per year. Clearly those things are not considered necessary to make that kind of money.

To suggest Dak is only worthy of about 20% of what those guys got shows you aren't even able to talk about this rationally.
