Lol

If there’s an internal struggle it’s between Daddy and Son. Earl probably wants too much.
thats what I said. The struggle is between THEM...and them alone. We all have our demons Its how you learn and handle those things that make a diff. Earl is likely asking too much like you said, but I dont think this is a question of money at this point. Its a question of team fit...risk versus reward.

if it sounds like a duck, acts like a duck, looks like a duck, smells like a duck.....its a duck....we have seen similar acts from Jerry before.....starts with a hint, a statement that's opposite of the rest of the org,

a strong coach will push back on him, so I hope MC is that type of coach and seemingly he is....pushover coaches like wade and garrett got steam rolled...Jerry is used to steam rolling coaches over the past 14 years.....its a force of habit.....

Jerry can only live with strong coaches for a few short years and as he has gotten older, his patient is less.......he is more and more desparate.....and has made more and more desparate moves even in the last decade.....
ET still isn’t here. So MM won?

I think they are trying their options and seeing what they have before pulling the trigger. MM isn’t going to bring in Earl unless he has to.

This is laughable.

The only "internal strife" is probably McCarthy saying no and Jerry Jones going through his little internal struggle he has when he sees troubled talent.

It just comes down to how strong McCarthy feels and how much Jones decides to impose his will.

He said it himself, it is his call.

I'm not sure that it's an outright 'No' from McCarthy, but very likely some reservations.

And I would bet that Jones is working on an easy-out proposal in an effort to get the holdouts to feel better about a potential signing.

But if Jones can't get Thomas and his agent to agree to that sort of a deal, I don't see a deal happening with the Cowboys.

The fact Mikey isn’t part of the Internal difference is all I need to know.

When Mike is the one signing the contracts then this fantasy of yours might begin to sniff reality. If Jerry wants it, Mike will make do as best he can. I do think Jerry is just doing his media posturing routine. Just like with the Manziel nonsense that people seem to believe was real.
Stephen Jones signs the contracts now and has for the last few years.

DLaw's agent only spoke to Jerry once and that was at a photoshoot.

that’s how I see it. I think MM asked for a few days to look at some guys first and that’s what they did yesterday. I get the feeling some people just need a little time to come around and Jerry is being patient so he can get the deal that makes sense for the team.

There should be no internal conflict. Either you want him or you don't. I don't get this situation with Earl at all. If people are divided on him then you shouldn't sign him.

The problem appears to be that the person who wants him is Jerry.....................

And if that type of deal doesn’t come together to where everyone in the organization is comfortable, I don’t think he’s coming to Dallas.

I think Jerry is working to alleviate concerns that some have.

I don’t think anyone is outright saying ‘No’.

That does make some sense, but I think Werder is the guy who likes "internal conflicts."

MM win? its not about coaches winning or losing, nor is it about jerry winning and losing.

you really don't get it do you?
I don’t think I’m the one who doesn’t get it. McCarthy has put his stamp on this team and Jerry was silent for months. Yet our fan base wants to make deluded claims that Jerry is meddling and is undermining his head coach when he has literally done nothing of the sort. But let’s keep making up stuff so we can push our agendas.

its not a deluded fan base. its what Jerry has always done, I don't need to give you the list (If I have to enumerate his meddlings, then you must be a new fan). and it always starts with contradicting his coaches. has he brought in ET yet? no, but the reports are there were meetings, the coaches said they like the talent they have. so media reported cowboys aren't interested, to which jerry responded, that's not true we never said that (undermining his coaches).

its not an agenda. its been 25 years of jerry meddling that's led us to under achieve like no other team in the league. facts are facts. defend jerry all you want. his history of meddling speaks for itself. so just call me once beaten twice shy (more like 100 times beaten, I am sore and tired and in pain).....
