Unless I missed it, there doesn't appear to be any interest from any team in this guy. So he's either that toxic or teams are just waiting to see how things go in their opening games to see if they might need to take him on.

But certainly zero interest around the league right now doesn't speak well about him.

That’s my thing too, yeah I want us to sign him, but dude appears to have zero interest to this point for anyone other then fan bases wanting him.

I believe most teams are waiting until after week 1 to approach Earl agent. After week 1 the contract isn't guaranteed.

This is an unwise assumption because this type of logic can be applied to many players who keep finding themselves bouncing around or in and out of the league. Josh Gordon could have been one of the best WRs in football and yet he can't keep his crap straight.
Josh Gordon and Earl Thomas are not 1:1 comparisons though. Earl has been a model citizen and then he tells Garrett to come get him and the last two years in Seattle (18) and Baltimore (19) are uncharacteristically bad behavior wise.

Maybe they did meet, who knows. The team’s total silence makes me think something is up. Either they have a understanding about a deal for after week 1 and the team wants it under wraps like the Griffin deal or they know the fans want it so they don’t want to talk about it at all. It’s hard to tell but my gut tells me they have to want to upgrade that spot and there isn’t anyone else available to do that. I wonder if the Carr move is a precursor. I wonder if Carr wasn’t brought back because he was seen on ETs side? Just wondering. If they weren’t interested in ET, I think they would say so and put it to rest. The intentional silence on the matter lends me to think things are and have been in motion. It’s a matter of when and for how much. I think the teams prefers after week 1 for security and ET has probably wanted more than they want to pay in this situation. I’m still leaning towards this thing getting done as long as they stay silent on it. If they play week 2 without it getting done, then I would put it to rest.

If he gets here, cool......if he doesn’t, cool. I’m just ready for Sunday to get here.
